I had a 1976 town coupe in 1991-94!! I had 88% restored. But the wife made me get rid of it. Now I want another one. Yours has certainly rekindled the love of this car!! The rims really set it off. They are simple but they are tasteful. Never would have thought to use those steelies like that. And powder coating them to match the interior is ingenious!! Love your whole concept!!

This is all good stuff,I've had my vehicles used in Videos over the years, I've had a Cadillac, & Harley Davidson Motorcycle used in Music videos... it's cool, but your right... you have to be careful....

👀 You need a second Claudine to do stunt work... Something with real rubber, no red Frisbees and a motor from that guy down the street, real dual rate steel springs, hi-pressure KYBs... 🤔 And for that big trunk... 🤗 You really should contact Suburban Auto Group for an ad.

@@SkaggsGarage With the work you do, a set of 150 spoke Spinners would serve well. Even with the car stationary on a fixed film set they will give a sense of action. The 150 spokes look pretty authentic too, not like the flashier caps. With the paint job on that Conti you could also do the wheel center cap in black chrome for a different look. And of course to get the exact amount and placement of whitewall, it is possible to gently remove the black rubber with a grinder. Typically you spin the wheel at 60 rpm (in reverse gear on blocks). There, that should keep you out of trouble for a bit... Cheers 🍻

@@SkaggsGarage Mr Skaggs is cruel!!! Okay save those wonderful wheels... Perhaps they deserve a more distinguished project. Mmmm... You might even have to look outside of the Ford "Fine Family of Cars" for those. Something a bit more rare and exotic in California... A Trabant!!! 🤗 Yes, Imagine what some black lacquer and mile deep clearcoat would do for it' majestic little polycarbonate body. Might have to crop out the hood and fenders to attach the wheels, but then you could put front and rear fender skirts to give it that special mystique. Perhaps a plush red interior including the steering wheel to compliment those Frisbees. Maybe even a Continental Kit for the back? Sure, five Frisbees are better than four! And the doors?
