$300? She said she uses Uber eats for every meal. Even if you exclude breakfast and assume each meal costs about $20, that's $40 a day for lunch and dinner. In other words, $1200 a month...

If you pay attention to the video, her main job is just a part time waitress and the other stuff is the used panties business and other side gigs. Both of which is actually pretty common. I know a lot of girls who sell their panties in college to get by. So honestly this is one of the realist ones they did by far...

How is this not real? Just because she makes more $ than an average person her age and is able to spend it on indulging herself or making her life more carefree, doesn’t mean it’s not real. You might not be interested in it, but it’s just as real as someone else’s struggle 🤷🏻♀️

I get what you are saying I make 35,000 a year as a college student I am a sophomore but I feel like this is accurate to me because my monthly income varies. This month I made over 5,000 and I was able to spend more than I usually do. Next month I’ll only be bringing 3,500 and in June I’ll only make about 2,400, my income fluctuates a lot. As this being a good month her spending was almost the same as mine. If they showed her on a bad month it would still not be represented fairly either. She’s clearly not spending nearly as much as she did this month when she has a bad or normal month
$60 on blow dry hair a week. GIRL, learn to do your own hair. Also, learn to cook. $6k budget a month, she needs to make $70k+. She does not live like somebody who makes $40k a year
Now, in her defense, some people (like myself) struggle to do their own hair. I just lack the dexterity to blow out my own hair nicely. Places like DryBar is a life saver!
I came here as a 22yo poor person trying to figure out how she got here. My answers -parents paid for college -sells underwear (okay but why so much ubereats, almost $300 of subscriptions/month, and the credit card debt she could easily just pay off?)

@@mags506 Her parents paid for college. She is a trust fund baby. Other people have to pay for their own college, usually taking out loans they have to pay off for the rest of their lives. By having her parents pay for college, that is a privilege most of us do not have.
Do young people not fully understand how much money they could save if they just cooked or even went to a restaurant themselves instead of using delivery? Most of these New York/LA financial videos and apartment tours include a “hehe, I’ve never used my oven.” Good for them if saving time has that much value to them, but yeesh, couldn’t be me.
Plus it's healthier and tastier for the most part. Like I could see getting take out or delivery if you have company but if it just you by yourself....nah. and why does her rent cost so much for one person, where does she live? Like for $1300 a month plus utilities you can rent a beautiful house with yard in a really nice neighborhood around Pittsburgh with one of the best school districts but kinda high taxes.
@@constantine9142 She literally said New York City. $1300 a month in the city isn't that much to be honest and she is probably living with a roommate, too. I honestly can't relate to people who are used to cheap rents. I have lived in big cities, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and NYC, all my life. The rents have always been crazy high while the apartments are tiny.
I truly don't understand it. You don't even have to actually cook or spend a lot of time in order to save a LOT compared to ordering delivered take out. You could buy frozen meals, salads, yogurt and granola, regular old cereal with whatever milk/milk replacement for breakfast... so many extremely low/no cooking options. And now they could even have their groceries delivered and STILL save a lot of money.
I really wish one of these were about someone with terrible credit, trying to rebuild credit or any debt issues on TOP of student loans. That would be eye opening.

For the connections. If she does it right, she can graduate with a great network of connected people. Also, she may need investors for her future businesses. Some like to see some letters behind your name before they write you a check.
I’ve watched A LOT of these videos and in terms of the spectrum of wealth shown in these videos she is on the more modest end and the ONLY one I’ve seen who donates to charity! All the $80+ a year ain’t giving any money away. Good on her for hustling for her money and also being generous with it 👏👏👏
The used underwear business has ALWAYS been there, and it’s very lucrative. Very few people are okay with actually doing it and don’t typically tell people they sell their used undergarments for some change. I commend her! Pays the bills 🤷🏾♀️

Did she forget to add her parents as an income stream? Admire the hustle for all the jobs, but she could budget better. Anyone mad that she has credit card debt doesn't really understand how credit works. Credit card debt is good for building a positive credit score btw. It's needed when you want to take out a loan to start a business or get a mortage and sometimes even when you want to rent a place.
There are some seriously bitter people on here. Yes, her parents paid for her tuition but it doesn’t negate the fact she’s making 40K as a college student and paying for her own stuff at 21. She’s even donating to organizations she believes in and trying to start her own business. That’s actually where the majority of her expenses went to. Yes, she’s selling underwear. Who cares? I get that she isn't the world's most realistic college student, but considering she has like no student debt, I can't say I find anything majorly out of the ordinary that she's spending money on? Although I can't imagine how she's managing to make that much a year like what
