What about Anuradha Paudwal? What about Suman Kalyanpur and what about Geeta Dutt? Don't you think they are no less than Lata. Well Shreya also can be compared with Lata as she too has a good voice.

@@zahidimran7399geeta dutt ji died in 1971 only and her husband guru dutt sahab made him to sing only for his films Anuradha Paudwal left bollywood to focus on devotional songs Suman kalyanpur was given break by Lata ji music director wanted always lata ji to sing their songs but due to burden of songs Suman kalyanpur sang and Shreya Ghoshal is a child in front of lata mangeshkar ji lata mangeshkar career 1949-2015 shreya ghosal career 2000-2023 now ok

"down to earth" and "modest" .... displays condescending behaviour to contestants/juniors, so a bit unsure. Sure good singer, so is Sadhna Sargam, Chitra, Alka Y, Anuradha P, Alisha Chinoy, Sunidhi Chauhan - and all of yester years who never got to see light of day due tactics deployed by "saraswati" Lata (ji).

Shreya Ghoshal is the most lovely beautiful and had great voice, impressed through her songs to every one in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh Iran Saudi Arabia, Europe and North America. We are all fans around the world. She proved herself she had talent and she is down to earth, she love her seniors and pay utmost respect. Lots of respect, honour, and prays forever. Anyway, mixing personalities with talent of condescending/bullies.... talent is talent, and personality is that person which is apparent in situations of how they talk to contestants on national TV (!) - then one wonders how they treat their subordinates and employees)..
