How to “Buy EE!”

Great video and info! But I'd like to add some tips. 1. Use the translate button to translate the kanji. It helps. 2. Don't just use the search. I mainly browse the sections. There are categories for used cars and kits separately and different makers and different parts too (bodies, dampers etc.) You can use search in a category too. 3. They mislabel stuff. Associated is sometimes asoshi and Losi is rossi. And sometimes they don't know what they are selling. Kyosho stuff might be in Tamiya category and vice versa. Browse different categories. 4. Use the coupons. You might get 10-15% off coupons for Yahoo auction stuff. Mercari might have up to 20% off coupons. Good Yahoo coupons comes in summer and christmas time usually. Mercari more often.

Awesome information Keith. Thanks for sharing the how to. It’s a nice compliment of the site to reach out to you. Local hobby shops are the best. If possible, I’ll go to them first. For items they don’t carry or can’t get, I’ll find a LHS with an online shop or wait until I’m traveling to an area with a LHS that does have it. I do that with our slot cars. Have a great week.

I enjoyed the video (always keen to learn), but i didn't really learn anything new. 😃After your first or second video of buyee-bargains, i went on buyee myself and oh boy.... my wallet is burning and the mailman has a hernia... 🤣🤣🤣 My latest additions are a nib Bullhead and a TT02RR (i want every version) and the OG Renault 5 body with decals and plastics, just bcs you said the grill on the hood is so hard to find. 😄

Keith great video! I was able to score a NIB Metallic King Hauler a few months ago for around $500 including shipping. As a bonus Buyee even shipped me the GREASE!😅 I think that’s classified as a Buyee Bargain!

Woah.......I just pulled the trigger on some RC gear from Buyee. Man, the postage cost is absolutely insane. Even if you get the package dims and weight right, it still slugs you with GST and also a cost for shipping from the seller to the Buyee warehouse. I've learnt my lesson the hard way. Thats the last time I use Buyee. For those that want to know costs see below. None of it really makes sense as to postage differences. Kyosho Optima mid - 40,800 yen (AU$428.00) Postage - 3.2kg, box dims 59cmx48cmx36cm = 9,850Yen plus GST = 5,259 yen plus domestic shipping from the seller to the Buyee warehouse = 1,940 yen Total Postage = 17,049 yen (AU$177.84) Total cost = AU $605.84 Grasshopper 2 body and decals - 3,400 yen (AU$35.68) Postage - 4,366 yen(AU$45.55) Tamiya TT02 NeoScorcher - 8,281 yen (AU$86.88) Postage - 1,829 yen (AU$19.09) .........go figure.......but this was a package I could not consolidate with my other orders and is hanging in my "won" list - Awaiting Payment for Optional Shipping.....what ever that means. It appears to have no option to pay and send it. Gutted

Omg I fell down the rabbit hole of buyee 4 days of bidding picked up some bargains but spent more than I anticipated need help #buyeeanonymous lol 😂
