How long had you'd been growing your hair for at that time? I have like 1.5 inches of hair after like 3.5 months and im wondering if its long enough to do this.

I had only grew it out for 8 months at that time. I think it will definitely work around 3-4 inches. Check my most recent vid to see how long it is now.
