For reals thank you for this video. I have changed my brights and they weren’t working. I was getting told by my man I didn’t know what I was talking about and he did the same thing I did then told me I didn’t know difference between headlights and brights… Your video helped me change my lights without anyone else’s help. Thank you for helping a girl out and letting me be a little petty with it too.
This video was very helpful! I needed to replace two blown out headlights. The passenger side was easy peasy. That driver side however was tough. Shoutout to the person to suggested the needle nosed pliers!

This video was very helpful but for the driver side I had to use needle nose pliers I couldn’t get my fingers in there deep enough to twist it seemed to work just fine
This was really helpful but you might want to mention that the cover might fall down to the bottom of the engine n it is a real PAIN IN THE A$$ to retrieve it especially with no garage n snow n ice in the ground. So my suggestion is to put a rag under where you screw on the cap so it doesn't fall down and remove the rag after the cap is tightly seated and tight.
bro FOR REAL. I think we had similar experiences. Though thankfully no ice or snow because we don't get that around here. It was below freezing temperature wise though! This has got to be the worst headlight I've ever replaced. Stupid, stupid design. The driver side bulb is nearly impossible to get to.
Try lifting it and see if you can get to it. If not the bottom cover will have to come off a little bit to reach in there and grab it...maybe you can push it off with a long stick 🤷♂️
I wish access to the fog lights in my ‘21 forte was easier. I bought some amber led fog lights and tried to do the job myself, i managed to just remove the black plastic “bolts” on the bottom lid but i cannot reach enough to remove the plug... I guess ill have to end up im a shop for lift😩
I had the same issue just doing my regular headlights on my Kia. The space between the light bulb and the frame of the car is just too close for my hand to fit 😭😭 I’m so bummed cus I was really trying to get this done on my own
Sorry about that these manufacturers make it impossible to work on your own cars. That's why I make these videos to try and help the consumer. Its just sometimes impossible with out having to remove other things out of the way first.
The driver side? You can try removing the air box lid to see if maybe that gives more room. You might have to try removing what ever is in the way to get to it if you cant

It’s honestly not due to anything being in the way but the actual frame of the car comes to a corner right in front of the dust cover and there’s only like an inch an a half of space to fit your hand thru… really bad design flaw and I’m sitting here so frustrated after trying to do mine myself and clearly failing. I’m wondering if there’s a tool I could use to grip the back of the bulb for me so I could simply twist it
It's probably not centered correctly. Look at the bult and the housing. There's a sertain pattern it goes in. There's usually 3 tabs 2 small and 1 big...it has to go in the exact same pattern
I hate this vehicle with a passion. The drivers side bulb is a pain meanwhile the passanger one is no problem, so of course it's the driver side always failing. Miserable inconsistent design.
