bastian gorm I heard from some people that 180 are actually more difficult than 360. I haven't tried either of them and I was wondering where to start

i long 180 is definitely harder to get the rotation right, and also to land. but a 180 over little hips and side jumps is very easy, i would start there. you can do a 180 on flats honestly

Just FYI, 180 and 540 are hellish on rentals. If you want to get serious into freestyle, buy twin tip skis

I've landed it like 5 times, I suggest if you're going to turn left, put all your weight on the inside of your right ski, and if you're turning right p, the inside if your left ski. Hope it helps:)

9 minutes of video. Not a single word on “landing”. Incredible. Land on a slight edge of a ski and you will spin and/or get stuck on the ground and maybe wake up in the hospital.

Santi I. Ikr?! Landing is the one thing I‘m not able to do. I always lose balance after I spinned 180 in the air, I always lean to the right and I don‘t know how to fix it.

+Anton Lundquist Otterhed Sounds like your turning your skis while still on the take off. All you should be turning on the take off is your upper body, your skis will follow in the air. I was making the same mistake when i was learning. Hopefully this helps or you've figured it out already.

How much more difficult is a 180 with "normal" ski's instead of twin-tips? Specifically landing backwards and not immediately falling.

going down heavens sake up past coffin to the run next to expo theres a nice side hit for easy 360s. you could also use the jumps next to the chair posts. right now the jib park on the side of cut has 2 nice 360 jumps

I can do really nice 180 on any jump, but when i try 360 it just stops me in the air at 180 because of fear...

I was the exact same way dude, i know exactly what you mean. The way i got over it was to purposely fall on a 180, to get over the fear of falling on a 3. Sounds strange, i know, but it worked. Maybe try the same thing? As soon as I fell the first time, falling wasnt scary anymore :)

Try it on so something that you can do 270 off of and land straight, like a side hit

I can do 360s fairly comfortably and I have only landed 270 once and I tried a moving flat ground 360 it doesn’t happen much. If you do hit your head it doesn’t hurt that much if you have a decent helmet, the other day I was getting my 540s down in new jumps and I accidentally did a cork and landed on my head. The rest of the night I was completely fine so it really doesn’t hurt much. And I just realized this was 3 years ago but happy skiing

Well i learned to do a 360 on skis, and I am thinking of taking it to a 540 but I don't know if I should try it o a bigger jumps that i am used to. You can check out the jumps on a video I made called: The week. Would be thankful for a answer.

Hey! i have got a problem. i maneged to learn my self how stomb 360 thanks to your video but only on small flat take offs. I went to huge snowpark in Czech Republic and tried to land it few times on bigger jump. i got it few times but genraly land on my tails so it was hard to stay balanced. should I put bigger presure on my shins or lean back to do it more flat spin on steeper/bigger jumps ? thanks in advance :)
