I would really love to see more of this, it is so hard to find furry how-to's when it comes to blender, they are always either incredibly out of date or just sorta speed art videos that don't give a good idea on the process.

Truly grateful for this in-depth tutorial! I've been wanting to make my own character models for awhile, but just haven't had the motivation until now. Been following this every step of the way, just been making a different model of course. ^^

Okay, I hate to be the one to say this, but while this model looks very good when static, it will have serious problems if you try to animate it (I am assuming you want to animate it as a VTuber here, correct me if I'm wrong). First of all, you want a consistent poly density in most areas, so stuff like the jump in detail from the legs to the waist are going to cause problems. Secondly, you want *all* of your polygons to be quads (four-sided) and to avoid tris (three-sided) at all cost. I only really see problems there in the beak, but something to keep in mind. Lastly, if you really want to animate it, there are a couple of sections you're going to want to re-topologise, especially the face. Finally, I'd like to disclaim that I mean no disrespect to you, making a model like this is incredibly difficult and you are quite a fast learner. I just wanted to point out these pitfalls so others do not suffer from them.

when i went to smooth the leg part they pulled away from each other, how do i fix that?

Is this video going to be much harder to navigate if i want to do fox instead of bird? I am at maybe an hour into video and had realization that fox and bird is not exacly same specie.

I really love that you guys are showing how to do this, however I am running into issues, if there is anyone I can talk to or ask questions. I don't know if it's a thing but I would find it really helpful. It's a long video and some things I am struggling to understand.

i need a second part i was following along with this tutorial and it actually helped me but now i cant finish my model because i cant figure out how to hands, ears (furry ears) tails, and clothing. (if anyone could link me to a helpful up to date video tutorial that would be awesome because i really wanna finish my blender model but i have no clue what im doing)

I got stuck around the 1:00:40 mark because their characters were blocking it. Other than that it's a very good tutorial!

I pressed shift A And the option to add an image isn't there. It also won't show if I drag and drop it in.
