I was tossing up between Frank and chuck from CHEP but I think I like franks accent, speech and collection better 😅 also he's quite a handsome young man so technically more visually appealing 🤣😆😂 i forgot the young aussie bloke From Teaching Tech also a fantastic channel . Between them 3 you should able to print and build anything
Love it Frank, I've been printing for about 4 years but I still watched the whole thing! I like the way you explain stuff, you're going to help a lot of people.
Line-X that Stormbreaker and make it indestructible! Understanding what is really going on really encourages beginners to not be afraid to take apart their machines and poke around. Great video!
I want to say thank you have had my 3D printer for awhile & trying to troubleshoot everything & alot of videos out there are not as helpful as this one was so thank you so much.
I had a clicking noise in my 3d printer and then I remembered that you said to lower the bed if that happens and i did that and now it works perfectly thank you
Absolute best at tutorial videos! I love how much detail you put into your video and the time you take to explain everything. Thank you very very much!
I am just getting in to printing, having bought my first 3D printer yesterday (a CR-10s pro v2). I love the details you get in to, how thorough and well explained it is and it is a great help understanding what I need to be aware of and how to troubleshoot a bad print.
Honestly frank Your my favorite RU-vidr, I never thought that a video could be so clear and understanding until I saw your channel! Keep up the great work! 😄👍🏻
Thank you so much for making video tutorials like these, I had bought an ender 5, about 4 or 5 months ago, and got so frustrated I haven't touched it since. Your videos make me want to try again
Thanks, Frank. I'm still in my first year of printing, and I still go back to your videos for reference and encouragement. BTW, I watched your video regarding welding parts with a soldering iron; do you also use glues? If so, do you have recommendations? I am printing a Stormtrooper helmet this week and there are 16 parts.... Thanks for all you do for the community!
Good educational video for those getting into 3d printing. Using the Ender 3 as the tutorial tool is great because so many new users are getting it. Cheers!
Just saw one of your short youtube shorts video about printing and was interested as I have been wanting to get into 3d printing for a while now to do cool star wars and other props and things but life and learning how has had me keep pushing it off. Probably for the best so I can focus on school for now. But I just watched your part 1 and 2 and will check out the others and perhaps later this year when and if I have more time I will get into 3d printing, could help me make some cool props for teaching in the future.
Another great video to help bridge the gap for people who are interested in the hobby but just don't understand it. ALIEN TRANSLATOR ! That's what you are dude, you are teaching us humans how to understand and speak Klingon. 👍👍👍
One thing you probably don’t want to do is auto home your printer while the hot end is well, hot. Because if it’s hot and your bed is a bit too high you will melt a small divit into your magnetic bed.
This is super helpful for a beginner like me. Thank you very much for making this. A question: where can I find that fiberglass bed? I'm using a glass bed and I'm having so much problems with the print not sticking. Thanks again!
I have a ton of Gundham models aswell, some from the 90’s all still MIB! I’d really like something cool you’ve made! Even just a cool fore grip or Modded rail attachment something. Thanks!
I bought an Ender 3v2. It wouldn't even print a small box 2"x2"x2". I tried for seven hours. It would do the base, then the base would stop sticking to the bed and ruin the print. Then the hotend jammed. Spent another hour clearing that out. A talk with some veteran printers over Discord said that Ender 3's are "hit or miss." I'm currently in the process of returning it.
What type of PLA should we use when we just start out? I just got a printer but don’t know what PLA is the best. (Also what type of tape or something is used during painting to cover the other parts to the print?)
My Z axis is like 1/2" away from the bed and I can't seem to get it closer to the bed( doesn'teven touch the Z axis stopper). Does anyone knows how to fix this problem ? Trying to do my first print
A Very advanced hot glue gun..........🤣🤣🤣 We've all been there. Question is okay with the ender 3 to just disable the stepper motors in the prepare menu? 😬
Hey Frank, been looking many video's to learn and decide which printer i want. I'm inbetween the CR10-V2 or V3. Just wondering if direct intruder is worth the price. Any input and advice? Looking to print Helmets, so i would prefer the extra build volume.
Some need more assembly than others. But if you watch one of my recent live streams “building an ender-3 live” it’s probably the hardest Creality to assemble and it’s not even that hard
Hello Frank. I have an Ender 3 Pro. My extruder is loose. I have printed a couple of things that look okay. My question is do I adjust the top 2 screws or just the bottom? My friend said the extruder should be loose but I am not sure what to do. How loose should it be? I appreciate your time. Thank you.
I just set mine all up, bed is leveled and everything. But when It starts printing its having trouble pushing out the filament, as in no of it is coming out. I've double checked everything and can't figure whats causing this. I am using the white pla that came in the box with it, I know you said that that pla is pretty crappy, is that the problem?
