Great video! I just printed my first larger print (15" Thanos, ~75 total hours) and learning to airbrush, came out nice. I'm making a base for him using air drying clay (thought to save some plastic lol). Will air brush a stone look with a few skulls etc. Hulk is next :) Keep up the great vids!

Your videos really have inspired me. I've already started on Konrad's helmet and have started eyeing Fusion 360 with mistrustful glances so that I can maybe split up the Mark 7 suit files (of course, if you wanted to sell your files I'd buy them).

Emily, thanks for making these videos. I’m interested in 3D printing and don’t really know much about this so thanks again for making this video and making people like me ready to take the challenge. I have seen some of your videos on the different models. Do you pick the type and size based on your available desk top area? For someone who wants to learn and has limited desk space, what do you recommend?

Thank you for your video, between you and another iron man suit 3d printer from England (wonder he mentioned you so you may know each other) I feel more comfortable and made me understand more. I.e. I didn't know you could level it manually aka not using the built in leveling feature or that you don't heat the bed when using the glue stick. I mean common sense not to bake the glue but no where does it say not to.

If anybody's having trouble getting their filament to stick to their bed you need to make sure that thing is clean. And I'm not talking wiping it down with a cloth I'm talking about 99% isopropyl clean. 3D filament is like tape or glue. There's something in between what you're trying to stick it to it's going to stick to that not to the thing

Thanks Emily, these videos are very helpful. I have been using my CR-10 Smart printer for a little over a month and I am really enjoying it. Your videos still taught me some new tricks. Thank you!! One question - I have had a lot of trouble using a new SD card for the printer, I first got some 64GB cards and those don't work so I got some 16GB cards (per Creality's suggestion) and those still don't work (the printer does not recognize them even if I format with FAT32). Any other ideas? Thank you again!!

I am having an issue with my CR-10 where the zero point on each axis is different from what you showed in the video and I was wondering if you knew how to fix it.

if you have alcohol mixed with water in a spray bottle. Just spray the print and wait a few minutes and the print will come off the bed easily.

I want to get into 3d printing and your vids have been helpful, just wondering though, does the cr10 use up alot of electricity? Like will the printer spike up my electric bill?

good question! I've never noticed a difference honestly. the internet estimates like 9 cents for a 10 hour print... so unless you're printing 24/7 it shouldn't make a noticeable difference!

An Ender 3 is a good bare bones starting printer! $155 on Creality’s website. Or if you’re willing to pay a little more, the Ender 3 Max is bigger, and comes with a couple more bells and whistles. My first printer was a CR-10 (also great).

@@EmilyTheEngineer Just got the Ender 3, what a printer, simple to assembly and use. For my luck it came with all the expensive upgrades (metal extruder, 32 bit mainboard). Thank you so much for the advices!

If you’re looking for a more affordable option a ton of people start on Ender 3’s! They’re about $155. If you want a bigger build area, my first was a Creality CR-10. They have a V2 and V3 out by now... but all are great printers!

your links are broken again. the thangs link sends you to a page that 404s because the hyper link added extra characters at the end of your address. also your do3d link for the ironman files are still broken
