im really wanting to use this, but i dont want to actually scan something then print it but im more going for scanning it then using what i get as a reference to make the part myself but so far with the few things ive tried to scan ive not gotten that great of a result so i tried to scan a person cause this is something i see alot of ppl do an get good results but when i tried to scan my niece or nephew i had trouble getting them to stand perfectly still long enough for me to get them completely scanned. some turned out better than others but was never able to get the face without it being all miss formed or the texture being all smeared making the face not recognizable. i have a iphone 13 pro an ive primarily been using lidar to do the scans, ive not really tried the photo scans cause i was trying to do it without having to pay for the subscription, if it was just a single time purchase it would have already done it but the fact its another subscription plan just makes it hard for me to add another one to my already long list especially when ive not been able to get it to work. any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
The person scanning tutorial is next in line of production. I did some tests already, but I got better result with the photo mode. Also I told the models to find a pose, they can stand still. Also no hats and glasses. You can but the subscription for a month to try out.
