I love your tutorial Lucy , thank you very much (I’m the owner of a Italian e-commerce , of course I have to do everything myself included marketing automation)
@@KaseyLuck have a nice stay! if you are here on vacation I think you will be in a seaside area but if you take a tour in the north write to me I can certainly give you some good advice on places to see or where to eat
Thank you so much for this! Any idea why, when at the Conditional Split, I don't have the Popup_discount Var A or B options? I've been going round-and-round, and am not getting that option.
Hi Kasey, great content. 1. have you shared a resource showing dtc brands that do pop ups / targeting 'right' that we can check out? 2. Video suggestion: deeper dive into pop up targeting. Can't find anything online about advanced pop up targeting and personalization. ex: purchase history, page type, best practices on timing.
If a person goes to check out page, but he doesn't enter his email whereas rest of the info he must fills. But somehow he keeps this abandoned. Now which flow he comes in ?
we call that the "Added to Cart" flow, but it's also called Abandoned Cart. then the flow people get into if they actually do leave their email address would be called Abandoned Checkout.
What's the point of having Placed order conditional split at the beginning of the flow? Isn't it possible to add that in the flow filter itself? and why 14 days and not 0 times over all time?
hey! yeah, you could have that as a flow filter, too. i like conditional split because i like to see how many people are getting into this flow from making a purchase vs popup. I don't want to do 0 times over all time because if it's an old-time customer who is resubscribing through the popup, I do want them to go through the welcome flow. With my split I'm excluding people who JUST got on the list by making a purchase.
@@KaseyLuck So, if I got that correctly, you are splitting welcome to two different welcome flows, one is for brand new subscribers and second one old clients who subscribed just now, right? And of course you are offering different emails to those branches.
@@lashakhunashvili8786 not really. my welcome flow is only for new subscribers and the goal is for them to become customers. those who get into the flow from starting the checkout, I just split and get them to exit right away, because i have different flows for those folks >> abandoned cart & post purchase.
