Thank you. Regarding activating your daylight, running lights, I looked into it for a while, and I could not figure it out. Even with a dealer level scan tool and even bring it to Jaguar and I think they can activate the lights. Your only hoping to upgrade your lights to 2016 version which I did.
@@XJLuxury Thanks for the information . Today I tried to access the hidden menu as you mentioned in your video, but it didn't work. I tried the main and the navigation menu top area left right n center for maybe 15 seconds each time but nothing happened .
I thought about it. I saw a post recently on a Facebook forum showing somebody upgrading their screen 2016 version but they say it was a crazy amount of work. If there is a way to upgrade the software without upgrading the screen yes I will definitely want to do that.
That is something that I would love to do on my 2014 XJ. Jaguar says there is a complimentary apple carplay and android upgrade for 2015 onward models. Wonder if they it can be done on earlier models.
Hello, i have an 5.0 XJ 2011 in Hungary, but it is a USA import and i dont know how to update the navigation (even where is the navigation DVD - i have north american map now). Can you help me? Thank you!
Hello I love when I have fans from overseas! Do you have to upgrade the navigation by buying a navigation DVD upgrade from Jaguar for your region and then putting it into the DVD slot or they sell a USB where you put the USB into the USB slot in the armrest and it updates that way
Hello I tried this and now I can’t get out of the secret menu. I didnt click on anything but the screen is just frozen on the secret menu even though technically the car isnt. It’s like the regular menu is on because i can click around and it makes noises as if the regular menu is on but the screen is just frozen as the secret menu
I’m going to ask obvious question did you turn your vehicle off lock the car and let it sit for a while and then turn it back on? If you did that then I think I mentioned in my video that it is tricky to turn off did you follow the steps that I mentioned?
@@brandonmacdonald2528 I honestly can't remember, but there were quite a few sub screens that as a regular Joe I had no clue what the "values" meant. I assume this was just a way to check the status' of some of the operating systems in the car.... the only thing I remember being able to do that I understood was having the ability to check / recalibrate the touch sensitivity or accuracy of your infotainment screen.
