Raid is live! This was posted before raid was live. These builds are for a online team environment. If you’re trying to solo: Taunt/clear smog and will-o-wisp is super helpful!
Haven't heard a peep about Dragalge either and I'm glad to see it here. Made mine with the exact same moveset with the idea that it can be an attacker or pivot to support with chilling water and mud slap if needed
I actually built dragalgae for this before seeing your video, glad it wasn't just me. I'm also considering a Mystical Fire, Sunny Day, Weatherball Enamorus-Incarnate (so many resistances), Fezandipiti, and a support charjabug-eviolite
People just need to run a Support pokemon in their party with Gastro Acid (nullifies abilities) and then you can easily go in with a Ghost/Fire type depending if it doesn't have Shadow Claw
Just beat hisuian decidueye with slowbro galar went in with randoms had corviknight, iron moth, and skeledirge we barely made it but ill take the win 🎉 good luck to everyone who might be struggling with this 😊
Online, Ive been using an altaria flying tera. Been using terablast/dualwing beat, dragon dance, cotton guard, and roost. So far, im tanking everything and not fainting at all while doing pretty good damage with the 2 dragon dances and metronome. Granted, i do rely a bit on someone nullifying the decidueye buffs. Maybe should be using shell bell so i dont have to use roost. Idk im playing around with it 😊 happy with my experimenting!
I ran eviolite chargabug with max hp and max def. very hard to kill even with the boss spamming brave bird cuz of my constant lunges to lower atk with the occasional heal cheer. being alive gives my allies a boost in spatk with the battery ability. can even run electric terrain if you got a moth ally to activate quark drive but dont lead with terrain cuz the boss does an early stat and ability nullification. didnt even need to tera
Why is noone considering psych up on slowbro? You can debuff with acid spray and then psych up for +6 special attack... I would run galarian slowbro with shellside arm, psych up, acid spray and chiling water/ recover or the other healing move which I forgott the Name of and shellbell🤔 Psych up even removes def drops
If you have a teammate buffing themselves then you definitely could. The only issue is by the time you psych up, your teammate would probably be attacking that same turn, and then reset everyone’s buffs. We’ll just have to see when the stats are reset when the raids live
Ogerpon, in general, is great for raiding. But with the expectation of Brave Bird, Ogerpon will get 2 hit KO'ed, so I would just be prepared that it wont work. Just spectulation though. We'll know for sure tomorrow if its viable!
@@EastsidedTTV I feel like tpc/GF would have to announce it ahead of time, lol, otherwise it could make the fans as salty as 7* mewtwo 😈 Like for example Baxcalibur getting Scale Shot in the Dlc. "from X date to Y date, 5* raids featuring Baxcalibur will see a new move available to the pokemon". Just a cool way to announce changed to various pokemon new and old.
At least we get hidden abilities and egg moves from raid mons! Even though we've gotten QoL where that stuff doesnt matter as much anymore@@LittleCrowYT
I didnt want to bore anyone with screenshots of calcs and what not. Lot of tedious work done in the background for these videos that just doesnt make for entertaining content. Im glad you enjoyed! And thanks for hanging out in the stream last night!
@@EastsidedTTVI like seeing the calcs but I know it’s not for everyone so I’m fine with running numbers myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ll be trying to show up for the next stream as well for sure
How do we feel about Fezandipiti as a physical poison attacker? It's got fairy subtyping, swords dance, acid spray, and gunk shot has an insane 120 base power
Poison physical attackers just can’t take advantage of acid spray so that’s why I focused on special attackers for the most part. Other than that, it should get the job done!
@@reesewackes3810 it’ll depend what the meta becomes. Personally, I think acid spray is too good for this raid. But it could be a physical meta considering H. Decidueye has a lower physical defense stat.
This was posted before the raid was live.. and I have not won with a single skeledirge player yet in an online environment in about 6 hours of gameplay. It seems skeledirge is very RNG. Congrats you won! But still not the best option IMO
I think for a lot of these offensive mons, you should opt for max Defense over max HP, especially for Muk and Munkidori who already have above average HP stats. Plus, you heal more using Shell Bell using minimal HP investment. Admittedly, this is annoying for Munkidori since you only get one and you have to use EV-reducing items on it while you can breed specific regular mons. 0+ Atk Tera Grass Decidueye-Hisui Brave Bird vs. 4 HP / 252 Def Muk: 99-117 (28.1 - 33.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO vs 0+ Atk Tera Grass Decidueye-Hisui Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Muk: 132-156 (31.8 - 37.6%) -- 91.9% chance to 3HKO 0+ Atk Tera Grass Decidueye-Hisui Brave Bird vs. 4 HP / 252 Def Munkidori: 107-126 (33.6 - 39.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO vs 0+ Atk Tera Grass Decidueye-Hisui Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Munkidori: 146-172 (38.4 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
I appreciate your reasoning (and the calcs), I doubt H. Decidueye would have any special moves, so I'm gonna have to use some resetti spaghetti mochis and opt for MAX DEF on those builds. I wish these mons could run Covert Cloak, but they need the recovery from Shell Bell. So now we're gambling with crits and def drops from triple arrows. :/
@@EastsidedTTV It'll depend on Decidueye's coverage moves. Brave Bird is a pretty big possibility since it's anti-Bug coverage, and bosses tend to click the moves that statistically do the most damage. Unless it has a scripted TA in the raid, I can see Decid mostly clicking BB over TA. Something I'm surprised you didn't mention was Venoshock. I can see the Poison status being very prevalent in this raid. With a lot of sludge bombs being thrown around and even the Toxic Chain mons (mainly Munkidori and Fezandipidi, the latter I'll talk about soon) providing Toxic status, Venoshock will become 130 BP when the boss is poisoned. It's reliant on sludge bomb and toxic chain luck, sure, but considering a lot of people will be using them, chances are likely to be high. Fezandipidi will very likely pair well with Venoshock Munkidori. Fez gets Charm to greatly lower Attack which will give Munki a lot more breathing room, and with both pokes having Toxic Chain, the chances to inflict toxic poison are much higher. Also has Acid Spray for support along with Roost for reliable recovery. Can use Venoshock itself to help with shield chip or just use Sludge Bomb for greater poison chances. Fezandipiti (M) @ Covert Cloak Ability: Toxic Chain Tera Type: Poison EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA Bold Nature - Acid Spray - Charm - Roost - Venoshock / Sludge Bomb
@@TheVengefulVadam I considered venoshock but like you said, you’re depending on the random chance that poison procs. And then if decidueye resets it’s debuffs 2-3 times, you’ll have to keep trying to proc poison. Personally, I prefer consistency over RNG even if consistency is weaker. If you have room on a moveset, it’s definitely viable
I plan on bringing my Poison type Arceus with max HP and SpAtk and this moveset: -Judgement (obviously) -Recover (don't want to rely on bad RNG "Heal Up" cheers) -Acid Spray -Chilling Water
First time seeing your video and its great! My pokemon thats sitting in my back pocket for the perfect group is Charjabug. Although i feel he will suffer the same fate as venonant, and just get abandoned
Don’t get me wrong those two can definitely work, I’m just concerned for the off-chance it has rock tomb coverage for flying types. But like you said we won’t know till the raid is live
Slowking would be worse than Slowbro due to Slowking having okay phys defense vs Slowbro's great phys defense. Slowking will have to be max defense to chunk hits well.
@@EastsidedTTV I do have mad respect for the Salazzle pick here as the only other viable picks for the niche is going to be Flapple and G Zap, who both might get worn down by Brave Bird. I'm curious if you would be interested in adding a side meme highlight build with Falinks. It can't be crit, it gets Iron Defense and Body Press, its defense stat is high and it can outspeed. With it not resisting grass, H Decidueye will also prioritize grass over fighting moves, meaning it should be able to get away with Shell Bell over Covert Cloak or Clear Amulet.
After the raid is live, I defintely plan on making a step-by-step guide on how to beat it with the most viable pokemon. Im open to including a meme build in that video@@black-redpill3
Munkidori’s defenses are kinda fraile, but it’s moveset was too good not to mention! Muk and wheezing, supportive or damager, I think will be realllllyy good!
Galarian Weezing players will be the unsung heroes of this upcoming raid. Thank you for uploading the video, and I hope to get some of these mons ready for the 7-star raid.
After minimal testing on my end, I'd found some options against H-Decidueye. *Note* This was made before viewing its ability and move-set. Enamorus (Therian) Eternatus Rayquaza Moltres (Kanto) Articuno (Galar)
@@PookieLover9000 another commenter mentioned enamorous as well! Might have to look into it 👀 not sure how I missed enternatus. My brain must have been turning to mush at that point 😂 the others I was worried about rock tomb but if there’s no rock tomb, those should be able to get the job done!
I was planning on using Torkoal with Shell Armor and Fire tera, since I've been using this mon for 6 Star Solo Annihilape raids. Crits and sleep moves are my worst nightmare in raids. After seeing these builds, I think I would try them especially for online raids. Really interested in using Muk, Sallazle, Corviknight and Dragalge. I also noticed you mentioned the possibility of Decidueye using Haze and that got me worried for my dear Torkoal. For those interested in using Torkoal in solo 6-star Annihilape raids, here's my build: Lvl 100 Fire Tera Torkoal Shell Armor ability Maxed EV and IV to Def and Sp.Atk Bold nature Shell bell or Leftovers Moves: Iron Defense, Shell Smash, Clear Smog, and any Fire move you want. My go-to is flame thrower since it has more PP. EDIT: the only downside of using Fire Torkoal is if the Annihilape has a tera resisting Fire types...and it does happen.
I like that! You’d just have to worry about the defense drops due to triple arrows but torkoals defense is so high, one defense drop shouldn’t lose the raid. It kinda sucks that shell armor is potentially better than drought because the sun could be really helpful if fire types are viable. Be careful if you try salazzle, it might be too fraile even with max HP and DEF
@@EastsidedTTV thanks man. Appreciate the tip. Torkoal is rather bulky so I think it can withstand a few def drops. It does have Iron Defense so any drops can be mended immediately. I do worry about its speed tho.
@@Mr.Crabz89 appreciate you sharing your build! I think torkoal could be good candidate for the Covert Cloak because then you won’t have to worry about the potential flinches. You might need that recovery with the shell bell or leftovers though. But just something to consider!
@@EastsidedTTV I did another build just now. I'm not sure how effective Hisuian Goodra will be, but it does have access to Shell Armor as well. Not sure if this is okay for the build: Lvl 100 Poison Tera Hisuian Goodra Bold Nature Shell Armor Covert Cloak EVs maxed to Sp. Atk and Def, and IV trained except Atk. Moves: Sludge Bomb, Acid Spray, Chilling Water/Charm, Rest As you mentioned, H.Decidueye can do flinching so I added the Covert Cloak for the held Item, Rest to heal it up. It's like Drigalge and Torkoal combined haha. I think this will be more of a supporter build than an attacker one.
@@EastsidedTTV shadow claw until shield goes up, then I generally I am tera so it generally goes for triple arrow, which you can counter with covert cloak. There's still the risk that on the double attack phase it might crit you with either leaf blade or triple arrow so it's not entirely full proof, but already removing the defense drop is alot since you can simply recover everything with bitter blade. Also I did use reflect for a buffer and clear smog to remove his buffs
@@neobahumuth6 Its awesome that you can run covert cloak instead of shell bell because of the bitter blade recovery! A lot of mons get held back relying on the shell bell in this raid
