Thank you Andrew, this is just the vid I was looking for. I play off a 3, I have always been "good" but never really went beyond that. I also have never really practiced other than buying a bag of balls here and there, mostly for fun. I have intentions of putting in ALOT of work this year, and seeing what results I can get. I am self employed and work alot of hard physical labor, so my plan is to be at the course at 6am for practice days. I really hope I can stick with it because I have always wanted to see just how good I can get. It will be a struggle with the balance but I look forward to it as a challenge. Love the inspiration, keep it moving forward. "Not getting any younger". I feel that, 37 going on 60 right now.

Awesome to hear man. Be intentional with your time and effort and you’ll gain a lot. Focused work is always better than work for the sake of work. Good luck 👊🏼

I'm proud of you Andy. Take a look back at your video when you announced the injury. You knew then you would have a hard road ahead. And here you are, 7 weeks-ish later, staying strong (stubborn? :) ) and still finding time to try and help others. Well done brother. Oh, and with you being in Florida and the Masters next week, you might want to check out another youtube group I watch; Golf Vlogs UK and James Robinson. Very funny and real. They are traveling to the Masters, Hilton Head and other areas in Florida and the Carolinas. Maybe hook up and have some fun!! Thank you!!

good job Andrew, "focus" is always the key in practice otherwise its often a waste of time.

So this is interesting you upload this today, because after I came off the course this afternoon I found myself at a point of feeling like I have plateaued in my game. I am no pro by any means, but I would like to think I am more than a weekend warrior? I play on average 2 to 3 times a week and have trended in the right way, yet I feel like my scores have stayed mundane. Shooting on average 89 and my best round being an 82. I want to go get with a swing coach but I do not have the funds for it as a college budget is hard to golf on. I have an app where I can dissect my game and I have realized that my GIR is pitiful. So I was wondering what in your opinion can take someone up a level in their game. Not only my approach shots but all around. This video was something I have always had in the back of my head but never put it to work as I believe I should (I have a bad tendency to not listen to my gut over shots), so it is something I will take and run with it. Dig the videos and good to see you are the way up with in subscribers, cheers.

Hey Andrew, fellow CCPT player here. Got wind of your channel a couple months back and have been thoroughly enjoying your content. Good luck with the physio and rehab. I suffered an injury myself last season so I can sympathize with what you are going through. Keep up the good work and hope to see you on course this summer. Cheers.

I need to get back into my practice schedule. Too often I show up to work on things and end up playing instead when someone shows up. Currently playing off 3.1 and trying to get lower but, it's incredibly difficult on these sub par course conditions. Heading to Pensacola in 3 weeks to hang out and play. Let me know if you can make it over to get some swings in, dude!

Hey man huge fan of channel. Was just wondering if you had any advice on consistency from the tee. My fairway and short game are pretty consistent and want to shave strokes off by being more consistent off the tee. I often find myself in the rough or in other tough positions which really hinder my ability to maintain a strong round

Great video 👍🏼 What I’ve started to push myself at more now that I’ve started playing tournaments. My first one was a huge learning experience for me, and I was completely uncomfortable.

Hey, Andrew love the videos! I notice in your bag you have the Taylor Made high toe wedge? If so, could you give me your thoughts on the club? Thinking about maybe getting a new 60-degree wedge. Thanks!

Talent Code is an excellent book along with it's follow on "The Little Book of Talent". The hardest part of the Talent Code to me has been, how to apply it to myself. I understand the concept and see how it can work in the examples, I just can't figure out how to do it to/for myself and by myself.

Yeah I love that book and the little book as well. Applying it always the hardest part... damn brain of ours and the habits we learn over time 👎🏼

Hi Andrew. Haven't commented in a while. Might be worth your while searching out the guys at Game Like Training. I think when you're practicing and training it's also important to consider: context, spacing, variability, challenge, feedback. Glad to see you're well on the road to recovery

It stresses the deliberate practice vs just hitting balls. How just playing golf or any sport isnt enough, but practicing the small stuff.
