This is my attempt at making a beginner-friendly introduction into the game of Weiss Schwarz. TWITTER - / tudousimu MUSIC: しゅわしゅわハニーレモン350ml / Sharou #weiss #weissschwarz #wstcg
despite reading the rulebook, there are things that are not explained well. Many times when I play with another player there is a confusion about how to use the "Backup card" about when exactly to use it. The same thing happens when it is an "Event card "and it also has a Backup symbol, according to the rules the events can only be used on my turn but since at the same time they are backups. They are also supposed to be used on the opponent's turn, but the problem is in which phase of the opponent should this be used without causing a problem. it's confusing and then there are arguments with the opponent. Another problem is that they do not clearly explain the side attack, because many do not take into account the trigger and perform the subtraction of souls before.
I agree that the rules could be explained more clearly, and I think that the complex nature of the game makes it difficult for new players to get into. Hopefully as more content creators make Weiss content we can help alleviate that.
If you take 3 soul damage, and the first card you draw is a climax, do you carry on and draw another 2 and they all go to the waiting room or do you just stop there?
The Vid helped but still a confusing game for a newbie like me that hasn't played a TCG. Looks like Hololive is putting out their own TCG soon so I'll try that first as there will be more new players like me and it's pokemon based so maybe easier to learn.
@@ChairmanTCG and this SUPER helped! Now I actually understand what the point of the game is, which allows me to move onto stuff like effects and what the heck climax and those symbols mean. Splitting them up like this was wonderful! Thank you for making this vid :)
When you try to be funny when contradicting your instructions, it only makes further confusion on a "How to play" video. Also its cringe. Wanted to really learn how to play this, but this video got me more confused.
