Once as a kid I had a lucid dream. So I’m this little kid who could probably do ANYTHING in the dream. You know what I did out of everything? Ordered pizza.
Sometimes my dream give a nightmare to me like I was riding my bike with my friend and we decide to go down to hills to go shop and then as soon I ride my bike down to that hills my bike suddenly rotate to left and then as my bike rotating there a gate that possibly could kill if my bike crash to that gate and then as soon I close to that gate I woke up with my heart pounding faster than my mom chasing me
@@douglaswegener6463you sometimes can but suddenly gives you adrenaline and you can’t run, this is from personal experience and I had a lot of lucid nightmares when I was younger
As someone who has naturally been able to lucid dream their whole life here are some things about it. When having nightmares usually I am fully aware of what my dream is about from the start, I can look and walk around freely usually I go through with the nightmare until I can no longer handle it then I give myself 2 options, 1 imagine something else or 2, go explore the world of this nightmare, go wonder around imaging new things and create different people to show up. I can also easily recreate any show and once I re created scream bc my dream was boring, it can be scary sometimes but overtime you get used to it and gain more control over it.
When your scared of a dream, I actually have a method of waking you out, I don’t know about you, but it worked for me. So first things first, you just try imagining that your closing your eyes, do it for at least 5 seconds. After that, you think it your head and try to hear your self think. You need to think in your head “Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up” repeat until you wake up If it doesn’t work just trying “(your name) this is a dream you must wake up” multiple times.
@@sorryteddy7807im just realizing i be lucid dreaming and ive even said that to myself wake up wake up and i woke up im so shocked right now ive been lucid dreaming for a while but i dont dream as much but they say we dream every night and i barely get dreams that i remember most is right before i wake up like i had one today i knew i was in a dream and it was a nightmares most dreams i do remember they are nightmares or good dreams turned into nightmares but im just realizing ive been having control since i was 12 and im 18 now and ive been having nightmares since 11 and i knew it was in dreams then too
@@YoungboyShortClips-- it's possible you are sleeping in an environment envelope that is noisy, or with strong oders that frustrate you subliminally, or one which has excessive light penetrating your eyelids...? Try sleeping in until 10 am someday in a relatively quiet environment, and possibly even with listening to white-noise in earbuds. Moreover, experiment with eating yes, a simple banana (organic potassium mind boost enhancer) before going to sleep. See what happens !
I mostly become a lucid dreamer when someone is talking for to long with me. I just smile and say "oh please, this is a dream" and then I just walk away or stand up and tada I am awake. Kind of boring
I don't know if I ever lucid dreamed but there was this one time in my dream I said to myself ''it's not like I'm dreaming'' then I purposely bit my tongue and realised I was in fact in a dream. I tried willing myself a pizza but gave up when it didn't work.
I tell myself that I will control this dream while picturing the dream that’s what works best for me. Remember to say this dream while you’re picturing it.
in normal dreams i usually suddenly get aware that its a dream, but the sad Part is that once that happens, the dream starts to fade away as i slowly wake up, I try to not wake up but at last i just say goodbye to people in dreams, its basically like 2 temporary lives for me
There are actually strategies for that. Try imagining your riding a bus to another dream. You'll be in a different environment but you can still control your dreams. You can also imagine yourself climbing a rope back to your original dream but that's harder and I wouldn't reccomend it.
YO! Someone who experiences what I experience! For me, I can’t really tell very well because I’m just waking up but I think that I become aware of reality and remember it’s a dream, I believe I become aware of reality because I’m waking up and my consciousness is kicking back in, but I don’t get a chance to say goodbye, I don’t even recognize *some* of the people in my dreams.
Don't think of it as 'not trying to wake up' and instead think of it as participating in the environment, your mind will fall back to the dream and deny the pull of waking, it will be the opposite effect of what you've been experiencing
oh I’m able to do this on all my dreams and nightmares. I wake up when I want, sometimes I just start chaos knowing that it’s not real, best feeling ever
One thing I hate about dreams is that I get to the best part and then I start to bring the dream into real life and then I wake up and realize that it was just a dream and I get depressed and start crying T - T
I just daydream in bed until I sleep. It works but sometimes you lose control with shit like the ground breaking and stuff but it works. I wanna lucid dream though.
Yea once I had a dream that I was throwing baby bottle pops and they exploded but the explosion was really loud so I woke up and it was a really bad storm and my room smelled like smoke so I slept with my mom.
I feel like when you show too much emotion in a dream you wake up. Like if you get super scared you wake up but if you’re having a dream about meeting a celeb you wake up
Yes if you’re excited, aroused, scared… your emotional wake you up. I hate it cause those are the best parts of a lucid dream but sometimes I just try to close my eyes and begin again and it usually work but I make the same mistakes again. It takes practice.
I discovered a technique I call lild Step one: make plans with a friend/roommate/family member to wake you up in the morning and turn on the light and then leave Step two: as they leave attempt to go back to sleep and as you do you will enter a space between dreams and reality. If this happens pick the scenario that you want to start in and then you're good to go
i once tricked myself with a similar technique, when i was in third grade id always repeat to myself "i will wake up at 5:30" when it was a school night. my alarm always went off at 6:15, and i wanted to wake up earlier so i could play games on my 3ds :)
I remember the feeling of the last lucid dream I had. I could think about and travel anywhere in my dream, but it always felt like I was moving in quicksand.
I remember in 5th grade I would repeat the phrase, "I will wake up at 6 AM (or 7 AM I forgot)" and when I actually woke up int the moring and checked the time it would be a couple minutes right after that time I told myself to wake up. It was crazy that it actually worked.
For some reason when ever I have an alarm for the next morning I wake up any where from an hour to a minute before my alarm goes off but when I don’t have and alarm i don’t wake up as early
Place a paper in every one of your rooms that says "LUCID DREAM". Every time you see it look at your body and the hour and confirm that everything is normal. Eventually you will do that in your dreams to. Surprise surprise, you will not see something normal
One time I realized I was in a dream walking down the sidewalk with my mom. I told her "I'm dreaming right" She said "Yeah your real mom's sleeping I'm just your dream mom" And since then I always knew when I was in a dream.
U can do this as well as u can lay still with your eyes closed and whenever you have the urge to roll over or something itches, you ignore it. They'll go away after a short time and its your brains way of testing if your body will react, basically seeing if you've entered the rem part of sleep and your body cant move. If you don't react you can lucid dream pretty easily and often remain awake by tricking your brain into thinking you're not :)
@@trollrat2828 yeah it can happen. but its very unlikely if you never fall asleep because you never actually enter rem state! Making the conscious decision to ignore urges to move just tells parietal lobe (this lobe controls involuntary movements and touch) you're in rem state when you aren't. Its still possible to get sleep paralysis but its a lot less likely if you never fall asleep, basically just cus you get sleep paralysis when you wake up and ur bodies still in rem state xd
@@lea896 Kinda, consciousness can be kept but you'll process it as entering the rem state. The cerebral cortex is divided into different lobes, the frontal lobe is mostly responsible for thoughts and memories while the parietal lobe is responsible for touch and stuff :) idk if that makes sense sjshzkdb Just the fact you make the decision not to itch a spot or roll over convinces your brain tht your body is no longer responding because its entered the rem state, not because you made the conscious decision to not respond. I hope that makes sense jsjzhdhdh I'm really bad at explaining
(Kinda) Lucid Dreaming Story: A couple months back, I had a terrifying nightmare where my family and I were stuck in a real haunted house, and we were all being injured and possessed by the demonic spirits, I saw every one of my family members die in the haunted house, so I began running throughout the house, trying to find the front door so I could escape. I never found the door. I was cornered by multiple demonic spirits, before realizing I was dreaming, instead of controlling my dream and escaping the house, I instantly woke up. I don’t know if I had woken myself up upon realizing it was a dream, or if there’s some other explanation, because I don’t remember waking myself up, it sort of just happened as soon as I realized I was dreaming. So if you have any idea why this happened, or some sort of explanation, please let me know!!!
If I could control my dream, I would be laying in a field, on a cloudy day. Where everything is at peace. I don't know why I want it, it just seems nice.
When I am dreaming or sleeping I can talk to myself, say I am having a bad dream I can tell myself it’s just a dream.. or I can wake up purposely. I have been able to control my dreams before. :)
@Choccymilk I always wake myself up when I'm dreaming because my brain takes me to dark places. I've been able to lucid dream since I was a kid and being able to lucid dream in the same nightmare every time I dream was never fun. Now I just don't dream or try not to
@@MatureIndividual1how do yall deal with it i be scared asf today im just realizing ive been knew i was dreaming and i’ve controlled it and been controlling it but i didnt know it was lucid dreaming and if they dream got to scary id wake myself up i dont even watch scary movies but i know thing about the world and who runs it that im scared maybe thats why i only have nightmares HELP ME ! pls 🤦🏽♀️
@@YoungboyShortClips never lucid dreamed. Had sleep parlaysis at 8 through ten, those dots that you see when its dark would turn into people and go up and touch my face. Used to hear my siblings calling my name when no one said anything and no one was even near me. Maybe underlying schizophrenia, maybe just part of growing tbh idc
One time i had a lucid dream and i was in a forest/ garden. I suddenly think "Wait am i dreaming? I am dreaming!" Then i thought "Can i control my dream?" I wished that flowers would start booming and suddenly a bunch of leaves and flowers started falling (i think they were sakuras.) so i got really exited and started running through the garden and i felt... free. I was wearing a yellow dress and i felt genuinely happy.i start rolling in the grass and then i wake up. Easily the best dream ive ever had.
You don‘t need to pick that phrase. You could also pick: "I will lucid dream tonight.", "I am dreaming", "I will know that i am dreaming." Should just be short and simple
I ever had a lucid dream, all I did was slap people with fishes. That’s all I did Edit : I started having more lucid dreams and lemme tell ya, it gets weirder Edit 2 : So I started having this Lucid Dream about the same thing lately. Why does it involve me trying to crash a car. And I am willing to do it btw, this ain't a normal dream. Edit 3 : So I finally got another weird one, and it was about genderbending everyone. Somehow, I managed to see the end of that dream. Bruh I barely remember anything. My darkest desire is definitely questionable
For some reason lucid dreaming scares me. Like the second I realize it’s a dream, I make myself wake up. Like for no reason, I just get scared. I don’t know what it is ☠️
The first time I lucid dreamt, it felt magnificent, like I could control everything and it was actually pretty peaceful. It’s nice to get away from the stresses of the outside world once in a while. As soon as I woke up, I wrote down my dream as fast as possible. I definitely recommend that. And for anyone interested, my dream was about killing terminators (if ya know the terminator, you know what I mean) alongside John Connor and the T-800 😂
After coming back to this after 6 months, I can’t remember the dream anymore. If I try I can remember some small glimpses but I think because of me trying so hard to remember my brain is making fake memories..
When I lucid dreamt for the first time I could control myself but not make stuff like other people say, I only could walk around, look around, and interact with objects already there. I couldn't lucid dream after that cuz I couldn't dream anymore
Yeah like when you first go to bed it takes time but then if u wake up lets say a scary dream at 4:00 am and when u go back to sleep it takes 5 mind for another dream
Ive only had a lucid dream a couple times but one time I could just keep pausing my dream, waking up , doing something, and them laying back down and resuming my dream. It was so freaking weird!
I accidentally had my first lucid dream yesterday!!! Im so proud, but here is how it happened: I had school and woke up, felt very sick, told my mom. (I was FULLY awake) She allowed me to stay home. I went to my bed and wasnt fully asleep at first just closed eyes and little dreamy scenarios, when you are still hearing your surroundings yk? And then I suddenly see and I'm like "woah, this is a dream...anyways lets just go to school and mess with ppl" I then teleported half way through my school way and got there. It wasnt rlly my school tho... But anyways thats it✌️ It was just very slowly falling asleep and not beeing fully asleep for me
it works better if you sleep on your left side and drink a glass of apple juice, this is because apple juice has insanely high acetylcholine levels, and acetylcholine works as a neurotransmitter-a chemical message released by nerve cells to send signals to other cells, making your brain function a lot more. And sleeping on specific sides affects dream levels. Sleep is associated underlying brain functions so that's a reason why specific postures during NREM (Non Rapid Eye Movement) could boost your chance of going through REM (Rapid Eye Movement).
i actually had a lucid dream not too long ago and it wasn’t even intentional. i could even make myself aware of how my body felt whilst sleeping. it felt like an out of body experience.
Today I experience it, and I've searched to google "why Im dreaming but I Know it's just a dream" and you know, I can control what I want to do like in real life. In the middle of my dreams I realize it's just a dream but I still not awakening. The only thing I remember before experience it is, My brother awakening me to do something, I stand up and walking, and sleep again in another room. Then after that I fell asleep again, then my mom disturbing my sleep again, and sleep immediately. I think when you're disturbing while sleeping, there's a more chances you will experience this, like you know your only dreaming.
Here is a tip that works for me. Think what dream you want when awake at the same time very easily fall asleep. For me it's happening everymorning sleeping just after turning my alarm off. Extra: I created a susanoo in my dream😏
Bruh I'm not judging but man ur gonna have a great time in the world of dreams rather than this apocalyptic hell were in. Good luck bro. Btw if you can lucid dream I want you to make a dream where u and a bunch of aliens were doing fortnite dances while on the top of the eifel tower
Is it really a disorder? Because that's exactly what I do, until this video I didn't know there were so many people that were able to do this, like, are able to control EXACTLY what happens in the dream and are ALWAYS aware, because no one I know can and they all think I am weird. What is the disorder called?
I had a lucid dream 2 weeks ago, and I never ever even knew I was lucid dreaming, so it was just a normal morning, except that I imagined Charlie Brown next to me, and he appeared and I woke up.
You got the right idea, but you missed some major facts. I've been a lucid dreamer for about two years now, and although I'm not the best, I do know that dream journaling and realty checks are crucial parts in the MILD technique.
I actually lucid dreamed once it was scary " my challenge was to not give the woman the chicken but I did anyway so I had repeat it , it was fun but scary I was out in different rooms but there was one were it was full with 🪳 cockroaches , and ya I was trying to wake up but thankfully my mom woke me up
I've actually done this before. One Time I had a nightmare, woke up, went back to sleep after a few minutes, and was having the same nightmare. I knew what was happening and was able to control it. It is really cool.
It’s actually a lot like shifting but when you shift you are there it’s rlly cool me and my cousin met the Sturniolo triplets and we are bffs with them it’s so cool anyway if you want to shift you can just research shifting and boom
Nightmares becomes fun for me I’d either fly after getting chased by a monster or the other way around I can also switch scenarios and places as well as people that I want in my dreams.
I’m able to recognize it’s a dream more often than not, and the two biggest signs for me are not being able to walk/run, and being in a public place with no one wearing masks (lol)
What i do is think about my favorite movie over and over and pretty soon I'm replaying scenes in my head and I can control the movie. It's pretty cool but I can't do it all the time
one time i had a dream my whole town was flooding and when i was about to die with my family I realized that I'm in a dream "wait a minute this is a dream" and then I closed my eyes for a few seconds and boom I woke up and right now I feel the feeling of regret of leaving my dream parents and my sister and cats there I kind of feel sadness of making my body make a sad face.
U know whats worse I got a dream were a volcano explode so great that my family has to save me and make a run for it sadly I was a bout to die and I was corners I panic in fear dunno what to do then as the lava gets close I woke up it was freaking realistic and scary :(
Full control is very rare and difficult, specifically because the more control you have in the dream, the more conscious you are and therefore the closer to waking up you are. I’ve been lucid dreaming regularly my entire life and I can only recall one or two times where I had full control over everything and both times it wasn’t for long because I woke up soon after.
I realized that when you talk to a character in your lucid dream or not, it was like you were talking to your subconscious, so you can talk to yourself, but the part that you don't know 😮
wow this works thanks! But I wanna mention that all my lucid dreams with the technique have been i realize im dreaming in another dream. Cant do anything in that dream. Then I start the lucid dream already fully lucid. But still thank you.
