want to automate your trading? i will show you exactly how to automate your trading from scratch even if you have no tech skills, fancy degree or any idea how to get started. in my algo trade camp i made short concise training videos, give you access to all of my code + invite you to my private quant community. join here before i close it to new entrants: algotradecamp.com/
inspiring as hell. I've been living overseas past couple years self-employed. Looking to grow more and I'm really happy to be involved in this community.
that's awesome to hear! living overseas and being self-employed must be an amazing adventure. what's been the biggest lesson u've learned from ur journey so far?
that's awesome to hear! comparing it to kohli's batting shows how deep ur passion runs. do u trade actively rn or still in the learning phase? btw, if u want to dive deeper into algo trading, my bootcamp could be a game-changer for u. check it out at algotradecamp.com!
ask the ai to explain the pieces of code in laymans terms and then u just do that every time and then after 6 months u will learn alot just through osmosis
great idea! learning through repetition and understanding the basics can really build up ur skills over time. what's the first piece of code u wanna dive into and break down?
I'm not even sure how much you got going there but its sounds almost scarey and crazy at the same time. Code has been really freakin me out lately. Lets use it to grow our own food! You rock Moon Dev... keep me on my toes.
haha, love the energy! coding can def feel a bit wild sometimes, but it’s all about harnessing that power for something cool. what's been freaking u out about it lately?
@@moondevonyt How someone with basic programming skills but using all these fancy API's and AI to assist in the language of choice is the part thats been freakin me out. I got a working program and realized this would make a nice phone app, and chatgpt told me all the programs and processes to convert it to work on my phone using bluetooth! Freaky
wow, that sounds like a cool project! what’s the program u made? sounds like it’s packed with potential. btw, if ur interested in leveling up with coding, check out my bootcamp at algotradecamp.com
I was baffled that people don't notice you use ai to reply to comments, just prompting it to talk with an internet lingo. But hey it works, so good for you
haha appreciate it, bro! it's all about keeping the convo going and connecting with people. what r ur thoughts on using ai for more interactive purposes?
@@moondevonyt Coding topics related to AI and developing software that can be sold as a service is interesting. I don’t code, although I’ve tried several times in the past to get into it but this video made me think of projects that I hope will encourage me to really learn thoroughly this time.
that's awesome that u wanna dive into AI and SaaS! what's the biggest challenge u've had when trying to learn code before? btw, if u wanna master algorithmic trading, check out my bootcamp at algotradecamp.com!
I really wanna learn, i learn quick, you're hyping me up. litteraly can you make me a list, 10 things you think i should do, try / practice, i would like to make a trading bot aswell, or have personal UI, this would probably be helpful for many of your subscribers!
love that energy! here's a quick list to get u started: learn python basics study financial markets backtest simple strategies build a basic trading bot learn about APIs integrate a UI test on a demo account refine risk management analyze bot performance join a trading community for support which step r u most excited to dive into first?
This guy, Pieter Levels is called an indie hacker. There's a whole community around this kind of stuff. People trying to build side businesses in their spare time. I've spent some time with some of them and they are a great group of people. Like anything it takes practice and time but it sure beats working for the man if you get good at it. Obviously results vary and Levels is one of the top guys but there's plenty of others making a decent living or side income.
@@moondevonyt Funnily enough, indie hacking is what started me down the path of Bitcoin and algo trading. I still like to work on side projects though, but the focus is less about making money and more about doing what I enjoy. It's less stressful that way. Any pocket money I do make from side projects goes into trading.
that's awesome! focusing on what u enjoy definitely makes the journey way less stressful. what kind of side projects have u worked on recently? btw, if u ever want to dive deeper into algo trading, my bootcamp at algotradecamp.com can teach u how to automate ur trading strategies!
@@moondevonyt I wrote my own trading bot that does a really simple grid trading strategy. It works surprisingly well in these sideways markets. I also work on game dev stuff in my spare time for fun. I haven't released any games recently but I'm always working on something, if I release anything I'll be sure you let you know. What I like about game dev is that there's always something interesting to work on. Some days I'm coding and other days I'm 3D modelling, animating or writing story. It's skill stacking on steroids basically.
that's super cool that u built a trading bot and also dive into game dev and 3d modeling! what kind of game are u working on rn, or any recent ideas ur excited about?
Would like to see the breakdown of how much you are making on algo trading in the same way you presented here for levelsio. I've looked through your channel and can't find anything as to the success you've had (profits-wise).
appreciate u looking into that! i focus more on teaching the process and empowering ppl to build their own successful strategies. would u be interested in seeing a case study or examples of bot performance instead?
Bot trading does not work. Wall Street behemoths use the most sophisticated bots with min latency so that is your competition. Stick to long term investments....and even then, do your homework.
@@moondevonyt there are multiple things which inspires me about you. 1. Your consistency on showing up everyday 2. You are sharing valuable knowledge freely on RU-vid. Many people charge too much money for this information. 3. Your dedication of learning and implementing new technologies. For example your video on AI based image generator inspired me a lot. 4. I love the way you organize your steps in notion. I would be happy to subscribe any paid training session offered by you.
thanks for the support, bro, that means a lot! any specific tech or project ur diving into lately? btw, if ur looking for some more in-depth training, u should check out my bootcamp at algotradecamp.com!
@@moondevonyt I am trying to make an arbitrage trading bot that will be integrated with multiple exchanges. I have met one guy he is making good money in arbitrage :D
arbitrage bots can def be super profitable, especially when u integrate them with multiple exchanges! r u planning to use any specific coding language for this bot?
@@moondevonyt But W content fr, I might start doing content and AI voice recognition to text makes it so much easier to making videos with better retention.
I just need to ask this. You asked claude why the app didnt worked, he gave you the home route and you (wont judge here anything) copy pasted and maybe even not noticed what changed but had the correct results and moved on. Please tell me using AI for coding is not only for juniors, please tell me its allright using it for you to code faster and more efficient. Everytime I use AI my heart breaks because all of the 10x dev nerds telling me its bad using ai and getting code written for you

I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
absolutely! coding is more about logic and structure, so language barriers can be worked around. have u started learning already, or r u just thinking about it?
i'm running bots on both backtests and real trades, tweaking them based on performance. results can vary depending on the market and strategy. what strategies r u currently exploring?
@@moondevonyt i am new and writing rn a crypto tracker in c atm im just using websocket to connect to binance and subscribe to the btc price updates and store the data in a SQLite db and the most recent data getting stored in shared memory so a friend doing the „frontend“ and can access this data in a fast way but i also want to do smth with the data and not just visualize it …
setting up an order book like that involves using websocket APIs to get real-time data. r u familiar with any coding languages like python to get started?
great question! it was a mix of both, with algo-trading playing a big role. r u interested in learning how to use algo-trading for long-term financial goals?
@@moondevonyt Yeah, I plan to build out a trading system of my own one day. Can I ask what your CAGR was on your strategy (or strategies) that enabled you to retire?
nice, building ur own trading system is an awesome goal! my CAGR was around 25%, but it varies depending on the strategy u use. r u planning to focus on a specific market or asset class with ur system? btw, if u want to learn more about building trading bots, u can check out my bootcamp at algotradecamp.com.
yep, trading bots can def work with funded accounts, but it’s all about the risk management and settings u put in place. r u thinking about using a bot with a funded account?
that's a solid plan, using a funded account to build capital can be a smart move. r u more comfortable with metatrader, or have u explored other platforms too? btw, if ur serious about algo trading, my bootcamp could give u some valuable insights. check it out at algotradecamp.com!
not gonna lie but that guy is just terrible from the technical point of view, no QA env, everything shipped directly to PROD, only php+jquery, 400$ in a single VPS, every page that he has is deployed in 1 VPS lmao, BUT IT WORKS!!!!!
sometimes the simplest setups get the job done, even if they're not technically perfect! have u ever worked on a project where things were rough but still worked out in the end?
Everything that can be seen as a downside has an upside. For example, this guy ships really fast and keeps his customers happy. He codes in PHP but very rarely needs to go back and refactor old projects because some new version came out. Imagine how much money he saves only paying $400 for the VPS. Most companies that do things 'properly' waste money on lots of things they don't need. To be clear, I'm not saying every company should run this way but it's at least a good idea to be aware of the real cost of decisions.
@@moondevonyt I think this approach works if it's just you on your own. If you're working with a team it makes sense to have a more sophisticated setup. That said, it's also a risk management thing. If there's a lot of money on the line it makes sense to have more testing involved before pushing to PROD.
