I recently heard from a professional that if you don't have a lot of money, focus on creating a good scent in your home entrance. You notice a different scent when you open a door easily but it takes time for a scent to 'leave' your nose, you normally don't notice that. So to create the most impact, make sure your entrace has a good scent.
Such a good tip! He actually had a diffuser near the entryway as well as spread out throughout the house but the one at the entrance was definitely the most impactful
My dad and I have severe dry skin and I once got that Aesop as a gift from a job I once had. He used it and said it’s the only soap he’s ever had that didn’t really irritate him. I now buy it for my parents every Christmas and it basically runs out at the end of the following year/a little past that. Very worth it imo. Smells like a fancy spa in the best way
This is exactly how I feel about Aesop! Expensive but worth it since it's a high quality product and lasts a long time! I love to buy these for housewarming gifts. I hope to have a sweet daughter like you one day 🥰
When I'm considering a new scent, I try it in store, then walk around for a half hour to see how the scent develops, and how I feel wearing it. Zero waste. I now have two signature scents and will try new scents when those run out.
You forgot first and foremost be Asian 😂. There’re studies showing that people from East and Southeast of Asian don’t have body odors thanks to the dysfunction of the ABCCII gene. Otherwise you can spray a bottle of good perfume but still have a strong odor. Hormonal changes definitely have a part in too.
Hi! I know that you are trying to be more cognizant of who you partner and sponsor on your channel. You should look into the CEO of scentbird, she is rather intelligent and savvy with her company but she promotes extreme pseudoscience and has made claims that she can heal certain ailments due to being able to speak to god. Something to look into, and honestly quite entertaining.
Thanks for alerting me about this - I have to be honest and definitely was not aware before signing the contract. This is a partnership brought to me by my agency so I've asked them to look into this.
@@wangjenniferr No worries. You can't know everything! Honestly, from my perspective, it's impossible to only buy from individuals who have the same moral systems as yourself. It seems that most CEOs have that "crazy" gene lol.
I have the same issue with my Valentino. It smells lovely but gives me an excruciating headache. I slso start feeling nauseous after 1 hour. Sadly, it's now just a prop on my vanity. Luckily the bottle is cute, so it's a nice decoration
Great question, he used a diffuser (I added the link to the description)! He also had a lot of Diptyque candles in various scents around his home (unlit at the time of my visit)
Synthetic chemical fragrances make me sneeze and my head pound. Things like soap and shampoo don't last all day, so I would like a way to touch up through the day. Been looking for good essential oil sprays but many of them aren't even natural and I can get a similar allergic response. Been looking for recipes to make my own blends but haven't found good resources for what I'm looking for neither
Degree UltraClear Black & White is the only deodorant I use for this reason! I’ve actually had natural deodorants stain my clothes due to the oils in them.
You need to try and do a review on Lume deodorant it’s life-changing! You only use it once every three or four days and there’s absolutely no smell whatsoever. I’ve never tried to Product like it before.
I like scents, but I don’t like phthalates or other endocrine disruptors (sometimes even certain essential oils can be endocrine disrupting). So I’m trying to find something that fits that bill.
I’ll credit scentbird for helping me find my two signature scents- the original Michael kors in fall/winter and Heretic’s Pistil Whip in spring/summer. However, the founder/CEO of scentbird is…interesting. And honestly disturbing. I had to cancel my subscription because I can’t support the types of things she says.
A whole bunch of nonsense. There are several videos about her bizarro content. It’s a lot of cultish energy healing, opening your third eye blather. One of the worst was her rant about hitler and how he wasn’t necessarily a bad person. Not great.
