our model , if that is android 12, it will have already contains ID8 interface, no need to add it, but if you bought the android screen from other sellers, you better ask your supplier for that.

Hi Paul. Thanks for the video for this ID8 install. I have the ID8 install effortly... I see few problems. Under dashboard on central column I see UnActivated. Do you know what it means.? Under weather it's also show UnActivated. Do you encounter this issue?
The ID8 what I got is the first version, it will continue to update the software and fix the bugs (new software all have this problem, normally, after 3-5 monthes, the software will become stable). I will continue to update the software version. For two points you mentioned: 1) under the dashboard, if there is no music playing on the back, it will show "un activated", when you playing the music , then it will show the music when you hit the dashboard . 2), About the weather, I also notice it, they (R&D) Plan to make it as an optional function, if you no need it, it can delete from the home page (for now, it can not delete). For now, the model we sell we plan to add this function, so far, it is free, but if the R&D charge it in the future, might have some extra fees. I also not clear how much for it, will see in the future.
@HifimaxIndustrial Good day Paul. Thanks for your prompt reply ...you are really responsive...will continue to use this ID8 and explore more possibility. My humble request is under the dashboard app..center console can show up google maps or waze that will be great instead of only display music album. Thanks for your great sharing on this ID8

@HifimaxIndustrial Just to share, It's not a bug. You need to activate this feature. Please configure your Hotspot as 44FESRAN. By doing this you should activate the weather feature. Hope this help others.
@@HunBoonAu You are right, it is not a bug, the R&D want to design it as optional function.(Because in last two years, a lot of models was sold, if everyone ask the code to activate it, that is a big trouble for software designer - R&D company), even 10% people have such request, that will be a huge job for them.
