Yes, I used to have the option and loved using it for inclusivity but it disappeared unfortunately... I was checking to see if it had changed location.... but no, it simply seems to have disappeared.... :(
I found the captions under the "edit" icon. Once in the editor view, select "Aa Text" and it gives me the option to add text or captions. Hope this helps. :)
@@charlielarson1582 did you try scrolling the down arrow in the editor view? My captions and save options are lower in the tools so they don't show up until i push the down arrow on the left while editing a video.

Thank you for the clear instructions. They work well. Two questions: Is there a way to make the caption type size smaller? Also, can we edit the caption after the video was posted?
Yep, I already knew how to do all that, but what I want to know is where the hell did captions go as of, apparently, their TikTok's newest update which seems to have gotten rid of CAPTIONS! WTH? What about viewers and users who are deaf or have hearing deficits?
