Today we are looking at how to add CarPlay to an older Subaru. In a vehicle like this, we need to replace the genuine head unit. Our customer opted for the Sony XAV-AX5000.

Factory amp is fried. Need a way to bypass it. But would be nice if everything kit was written on the description

Which dash kit replacement did you use? It looks gorgeous. All I can find is one that has a steep indentation that makes the whole unit look cheap and ugly.

Did your car have HarmanKardon audio system? Mine does... If yours had, what is the sound quality after installation vs the original?
