people are using this for bad stuff nowadays unfortunately :( it hit Massachusetts recently and the boof people are using is unreal. no regard for anyone's safety. it's really bad. then they either pull out flavors somehow from that shit material or they add back terps. i don't know which one they're doing because it smells ok at first pass. then you keep your nose to it and you're like wtf? seen it with two major maine extractors.
@@BricksOnDaBeat Nope it leaves a black residue and smells like plastic or rubber after the dab sits on the nail for a moment. The first hit will generally taste OK, then the rest are rubbery and chemically tasting. Someone described this exact same thing on Reddit and said it was just part of the color remediation process removing all the terpenes?
John Crichton I’ve smoked TONS of colour remediation stuff and never once had that issue brother. People have been cutting shatter with synthetic pine resin and other stuff from China lately, and id be willing to bet $ that your shatter is also contaminated with some sort of cutting agent.
@@BricksOnDaBeat all I know is that it's specifically color remediation concentrates that have this nasty flavor. it's extremely easy to cover up crafting material so I think that's what's going on. So it depends on who you're getting it from.
Nice set up. There is better solutions for color remediation I'm just trying to figure out the proper mix to get the consistency I'm looking for. Dialing it in still.
Most of the best diamonds and shatter is Crc lol u just have those guys who use black dabs and crc them and sell it to u ! Beginning product is key not crc
@@MrFragranceReview nothing ignorant about what im saying, ive been makin wax for 10 years, pretty much since it came on the scene, ive seen and made all types from amber glass to crumble to poop soup to c02 wax. The best wax doesnt need color correction because the flower its sourced from is high quality cured resin, the trichoms are fully formed and arent hazy or deflated, and you MUST keep your temps and times right, or as i like to say "speeds and feeds". Color correction is a shortcut to take lower quality product and make it appealing to the eye, but id rather have dark wax that keeps its original flavor profile than the frankenwax ive seen at some of these dab events.
Idiot isn’t the butane crc you are thinking of. This is ethanol winterized bho getting scrubbed for distillate. Butane crc is different and you have no idea what you are talking about if your saying bullshit like that. Stop regurgitating what the internet fuckbois make memes about because crc is the way to pull out the amino acids and fats that a paper or sintered disc won’t grab even at -80. If done right with good material you don’t lose terps and get a nice clean dab. But this video literally is for ethanol post winterization scrubbing for distillate which is a good thing if you want that water clear distillate in the 90+ thc range

I’m one of a small % of extractors who know all methods of commercial extraction. Most stick to one or two methods. Crc is very useful in every extraction lab period. You are just scared because you’re uneducated and don’t even understand how it works or what different types of crc there are and for what post processing they are useful for. Anyone can blast cold butane through a column and make poop. It’s not rocket science. Cleaning up that poop for better thca crystalline crashing and cleaner extracts is another animal.
