How to Add Custom Valorant Nightbot Commands to your Twitch Chat 

hey man i am trying to use your command for my rank command in my stream but it is saying unexpected token Rin JSON at postion 0 and im not sure how to fix it or make it work

nvm i got it to work i had to delete some more stuff...thank you for the commands btw they are very helpful and much appreciated

I would double check the username and tag and region. Also a common problem I've seen is putting brackets around the username and tag which you do NOT want to do. Let me know if it continues to happen

another thing to keep in mind is if you have special characters in your username/tagline for example i have a "ツ" in my name it doesnt like that

I will look into it. There is no native JavaScript in the stream elements chat bot though, but I will make a work around

I do not have the code for streamelements. Their bot does not allow for direct JavaScript code like nightbot

In this case, it wouldn’t be practical for the games to be from a week ago. I can try it out some more and get back to you. The main problem is that games tend to expire on the link I’m using to get the info

Go back to the google docs for rank and record commands and I updated it with the correct urls

@@kojiqt if you updated it with the url that says (valomind.com) it will work. Looks like riot’s servers are up now so it should work

That's actually a really good idea I can't believe I haven't thought of that lol. I'm sure you could use nightbot's uptime command to see if the valorant game was played with that period of time. Thanks for the comment!

This feature will be great if it is implemented using Twitch API to get the start of the stream's timestamp.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work. That was my original goal but it would only be possible with more code. And nightbot can’t handle anymore code

Currently, the code only checks if the date matches the current date so it’s technically not even the past 24 hours. Because of that and because of the character limit for Nightbot commands, I haven’t found a good way to do that. However, i will look into that and reach out if i find a solution. what region are you?

Currently, I haven’t been able to get the command to work with fossabot. The eval command on fossabot acts a lot differently than nightbot

some people have been missing the closing parenthesis at the end of the code. Check that and if that's not the problem add my discord and send me your code

I'm not sure if I or anyone could do this because the amount of RR you need for radiant isn't a fixed amount. It changes based on how much RR people in the top 500 have. Sorry

@@ImSoBored_ I have seen a few streamers (namely: JoeDaBozo) do this so I know it's possible. But the fact that the RR changes is what makes it hard.

Don't know about rr change, but you can simply multiply the number of ranks starting from the rank above your current rank until the rank you are interested in by 100, then subtract your current RR points. In this case start counting from Silver(if you're bronze) to in this case Radiant. So that's 7 * 100 - RR; Now google states only 500 people in the above 450 threshold can attain the rank of Radiant. 500 is irrelevant here, because we only want to know if we could get to the 450 threshold. This is not precise yes, only the ballpark. If you want precise, you'd have to get the RR of the top 500th player in radiant and subtract the results of your RR calc to that + 1RR so that you're above him. And I don't think the api can do that for you. So for now, we'll just remove 1 rank from the calculation and replace it with 450rr instead. So final: (6 * 100 + 450) - RR = number of RRs needed to get to Radiant.

Hey good question I forgot to include this in the google doc but I'll cahnge it. If you have spaces in your name add %20 where the space should be. If my name was "Im So Bored", I would put Im%20So%20Bored in the code.

Make sure to take every space that you can out. Every single character matters. Also this only works on Nightbot.

Also replace the [tag] and [username] with your info before copying and pasting it
