Thanks for sharing! I think the way I would of tuned these chops is by digging into sample and chopping them down further them tune each chop. This is what the MPC is really good at! Just a thought. God bless!

Nice tips brother! Gotta check it out myself, I been working overtime to utilize AUM and all the cheap parametric EQs loopers and effects they have that work with the MPC! I’ll keep you posted

Sounds like a cool setup. I've been messing with an iPad a bit lately but haven't pulled the trigger on AUM. I was thinking about buying one of those now discontinued focusrite iPad docks so I can run assignable outs the mpc into it and use the iPad as an fx unit. Other priorities currently but definitely interested. Keep me posted.

Aye dope vid man .. I’ve been trying the sampling from vinyl thing and I run into the same problem with tryna figure out what the key is .. I thought the tuner was for a guitar .. idk but thanks for the info as always … 💪🏾💯

Definitely use the tools how you see fit. Up until they put the tuner in, I was using a korg chromatic tuner with my mpc. It gives you a wider range more than a guitar tuner. Not sure what the range is on the mpc but seems to do a good job.

You know what would super dope , if Akai made a feature where it highlights let's say All the Gm chops , all the Bm Chops and so on , and then you have the ability to send just the Gm Chops to a "Gm one shot Sample Folder" or Am one shot Chop folder 📂 Dang the would be lit to then send them samples to all the pads 🕯
