How to add soles to your Spiderman cosplay suit 

Yo this video just SAVED ME for comic con in two days!!!!!

Quick tip: use shoe glue or E6000 and blow dry it for 5 minutes before sticking to make it tacky. gorilla glue is okay, but if it’s regular gorilla glue, after it dries, it gets hard. If you’re going to use gorilla glue, make sure it’s a flexible glue that bonds. Also heating it up before sticking it makes it easier to stick on and harder to come off 🤝🏽💯 other than that, fantastic video and Comic-On!

i did the same thing like water shoes and everything my miles morales suit turned out great I added black soles to my feet so I could get that black sleek look overall I was a bit nervous on messing up but it turned out great! thank you

For the Water Shoes do you get the same size as you normally wear shoes or do you get it smaller?

Does the glue ooze through the spandex to fix the liner to the sole? I've done this making fabric covers for shoes where you just peel back some of the shoe and tuck the fabric (with glue) in the gap. Also - why do you go 1-2 sizes smaller?

even better if u can peel apart the water shoe from the sole. then u have a shoe u can put inside if u wanna do parkour or smth and have more control. peeling the shoe from the sole takes a lot of patience though.

i actually dont run into this problem as i mainly use my suits for b day party's or coaching at a rock climbing gym . I got to get off the suits included gloves and feet so i could use my rock climbing shoes and hands for climbing / great vid though anyways ty

Not bad. Looks like a lot of work with the second pair of water shoes but not damn bad

I put a pair of kung fu shoes inside the feet and then cut the material open and superglued the suit to the shoe, then glued a pair of red rubber soles to the bottoms lasted a year so far with no repairs.

I do same thing with my suit spiderman

I was thinking if you bought two pairs then you should of not put the insoles in the costume instead you should of put the Second pair of shoes Instead then glued them so then they will stay so you do not have to take them out .😅 sorry if it was too long

Pro tip, if you pour boiling water into them you can detach the soles from the fabric of the shoe
