I need to laugh. You start your video with captions then when she "goes to her computer" captions are unavailable. This hinders some of us from understanding how to caption, since this is the reason I came here.
I'm currently using this for my video project that involves a lot of talking, whenever I split, glitch still appears even when I download it. If there is a way to have a separate for subtitles or elements instead so that you don't need to split the video. Let's say there is a layer to add the elements or subtitles you want to add and you drag it where you want to appear. That you don't need to split the videos. How cool is that if that happens.
The explanations are very clear, simple and direct to the point. It is just a pity that there is automatic way of doing this to save time. Thank you.✨🙏✨.
You are welcome Melvin! I know it can be frustrating to do all that work but it's the only way at the moment. Hope Canva adds an automatic way to do it soon!! 🔥
Thank you so much for this it was sooooo helpful! I don't even want to say how much time I spent trying to figure out the best (and cheapest) way to do this. And then here's your method - simple!
It’s the fact that you responded to every question. Thank you SO much for that! New subscriber here!🙌🏽Not only for that content, but the fact that you engage with your subbies. ❤️
Thank you so much for this! I have been wanting to add subtitles to videos in Canva for so long, but never thought about splitting the video... I always just cut it after the text and then re-added the video and cut it off till where I had it already...Which was like double the work 😂
Hi... Is there any ways to avoid the loss of clarity after export in Canva? It always happens with Canva and when we post any videos into social media, the compression make it even lesser in quality. Any ways to overcome it? Thank you...
You should consider using a Pro version. Then another thing is that, you can publish your video directly to your social media account instead of downloading it
Question: Can you use designs you make during pro trial for commercial purposes or not? As educator I have edu licence and I never used Canva for commercial purposes, but now I made children's book in it and want to sell it. So what is the best plan? Trail for month or subscription for month? Thank you.
Hello guys, I'm trying to create a videocourse with Canva. I have the structure and the slides made on Canva and I would like to record my talking head with transparent background (like yours in the video) and the canva slides while I explain them. How should I do that? Do you have any advice? Thank you so much!! A.
Yes! This is helpful. Can you show us how to add a little effect in tie video? Like sparkles ✨ 🎆 or swirls to make something look kind of magical for a second?
We normally add captions from .SRT files within Adobe Premiere. I assume this is still not available to do within Canva? We have a client using Canva but has to export the final video into Premiere to add captions quickly using the .SRT's. Looks like we'll have to still do it this way for speed. Nice tutorial though... Thanks. :)
I have spent about 30 minutes trying to find a good tutorial on this topic! Thank you so much Google for helping me find you. Question, when I go to "create design" in Canva and select IG Reels format, will your instructions still apply? Or do I need to go to video? I shot video vertically to use for Reels. Thank you!
hi Diana, Love all your canva videos and already gave you a thumbs up! Wonder if you can share the program that allows you to record yourself and sharing screen at the same time?
Hey there Jakub, this is a question we receive quite often, people seem to enjoy this editing style. It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure the ultra key process renders the best result and an experienced video editor in our team to make it all look good. We might create a course about how we create our tutorials in the future 😎✨
Thank you for your comment Dee-Ann! We're glad this was helpful! 🤓 And yes, we agree with you, this is a bit cumbersome. Let's hope Canva ads auto subtitles soon 🤞
There is limitation to add number of audio clips. Only 20 clips we can add in Canva. For. Creating long videos with audio and subtitle little bit difficult
I'm looking to have the option for word-to-word text as i speak. Whereby the words can be different sizes and colors. I already know how to transcribe sentences. But each word would be too many cuts to the video.
The short footage, in which you were introducing the new video editor feature, in the screen where there was the video, that was from 1 of the Ronny's video, right? I found that out, as you most of the times teach in a larger size Mac cursor than Ronny. Am I right?☺️
You're welcome. This is not idea, and we hope Canva will soon come up with an automated way to do this 🤞 But at least you know there is a way to do it 😉
@@TeamRonDi hahaha maybe it's just me. Perhaps you're able to, but CC is greyed out for me and when I click on it it says "No subtitles available for this video."
Hi, so there's no way it will be automatic to transcribe what you are saying like youtube automatic subtitle feature setting...still you're paying for a pro account yet you need to type it manually? (time consuming & tedious) Can canva upgrade considering the monthly pro payment fee? Yet, Canva doesn't deliver or not rendering a full potential service for its paid user/client? Any thoughts? =)
Is this not possible when editing a video the TikTok category? Whenever I try to add new text after the video split it instead edits the text in the previous frame. Am I doing something wrong or is this only available for videos in 16:9 format? And yes, I do have the Canva PRO. Many thanks in advance to whoever can answer me!
errrr hopefully there will be an automatic voice to text function soon and Im even using the pro version when I can get this feature for free on capcut :(
I was hoping for an easier option than transcribing myself. I'm hoping they have an option to actually upload a srt or vtt file. But I like your video and tutorial.
This is so impractical typing in subtitles manually surely there’s an automated way ? Have you come across this yet ? Please if you have can you make video on it . Thanks
Canva never really gave us a limit in terms of duration. There is a 100 GB storage limit on Pro accounts and 5GB on free ones, but that's not exactly the size of videos... TBH, we don't know 🤔
As others have said, when I split the video and wait, it still glitches even after I download it. This makes it impossible to create a professional video. What I've had to do is create the video in Canva and export it into DaVinci Resolve and add text there. This adds so much work to the project. If you can't fix the bug with splitting the video can you add a way to time the text?
Hi James, actually Canva is currently rolling out a new feature to solve this problem. You can watch this tutorial to discover the new video editor: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6q_VjensbJM.html
