Being an adult learner, I consistently struggle with APA formatting. With the new 7th edition it only made matters worse. Thank you for simplifying this. You are truly fantastic and so helpful!!
Thankyou you're a freaking life saver. Never was taught this in high school, now I'm in college and trying to figure things out for myself because all I learned was MLA not APA
Really thanks for the videos. I just have a question, could you please tell how to write the Note below the table, while the table is from your own extracted data in the research. Thanks 😊
Hi Chelsea, i don't want to be misunderstood...It is almost end of Fall 2, Nov 2022, hello yes, I am in grad school! If i earn A's in both of my classes, all credit goes to you & your channel Smart Student! Thank you! ST
I appreciate the help and I am so glad that this was shared with me. I wanted to know information or tutorial about apa 7th case study papers and how to perfect them?
Is it okay to use in-text citation like this: (XYZ, Year) under the figure ( figure is an Image from a site) and then include rerefence for (XYZ, YEAR) at he references section? Or the in-text APA citation is not allowed in Figure Note section?

If I have one table and four figures in my Appendix page how do I label them. Will it be Appendix A for Table 1, Appendix B Figure 1 , Appendix C figure 2
hi, I have a question, how to number tables in apa-7. Like if chapter4 explains results being displayed using tables, would I be numbering my tables i.e Table 4.1, Table 4.2, or do I have to number Table 1, Table 2. (note: tables are starting from chapter4)
She didn't mention it here but you can also make an Appendix where you put all of the graphics, tables, and charts. I'm not sure if she has a video for that but look into incorporating that into your current and future papers.
Coming from someone who teaches directly from the most current version of the APA manual, I can assure you that the information in this video is correct. Another way to think of the properly adding visuals to your papers is this - If you add the figure before the text, the reader will be confused bc they don’t have context or your reasoning for including it. Giving the information first prepares them to receive the information. Hope this helps!
APA style has a specific format for tables. Tables should appear at the end of your paper, after the reference list and before any appendixes. Every table needs a unique title after its label. The title should be brief but clearly explain what is in the table.
