How to add Text to a photo in iPhone 12 iOS 14.5. This is advanced edit in mark up using limited tools. You will see 3 dots top left after you hit edit with brings up mark up window or pop up there you click on mark up and it brings you to the page where you can do advanced editing including adding text to a photo.

How can you bring the text in front of all other edits? It always goes in the back and I can’t see it.

What I would do is a screenshot of your previous edits and then start with a new picture and then your text will be on top

Unfortunately when I tap edit, on the top right hand side there are not 3 dots to proceed. I’ve tried it with pictures, photos, and Google photos. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Make sure you have the latest software update and you must have a newer phone if that doesn’t work try power down phone wait a couple seconds or minutes and then power back up and check good luck thanks for watching

The iPhone has a limited amount of editing that you can do you may have to download a third party app to do more complex editing good luck thanks for watching
