Finally!! After 20 tutorials with no one explaining how to add the video in text and put it over another clip with only the text showing. And the solution was so simple!!

Hey New subscirber her I cant find anyone on youtube that makes how to color in adobe animate and explains all the brushes nad everything well can you please make a video on how to color in adobe animate with brushes paint bucket tips tricks etc thank you
That is a video I am planning to do as part of my "level 1" tutorials. I have 8 more to do (setting up a new project, drawing tools, motion tweens, frame by frame, 3D tool, easing, onion skinning and masking). It was going to be one of the last ones I was going to do, but I'll try to move it up (will be in May probably though as I have my next 8 videos scheduled already).
Sorry, missed this. If you are selected within your sequence/timeline, and then click on Text Tool it should work. If not, you have a problem that needs to be fixed by adobe I think.
Mr. Dolinski... I found this Tutorial the BEST... I repeat THE BEST tutorial for adding TEXT in Premiere Pro... You are a GENUINE TEACHER... You know how to explain... Big Hug!!!!
what an excellent tutorial! very helpful, thanks a lot! Thank you also for not putting the background music and comfortable tempo of the tutorial. Question: in the last chapter - so does APr adds a new custom template each time you create a text layer? I did not get that part. I suppose you can delete them if not needed? and is there any way to sort the templates into folders? Also I liked how you created effect for the intro to the new chapter of this video, was it done in APr or AE? And is there a tutorial on transitions? I am trying to switch from Hitfilm Express to Adobe Premiere and struggling a bit with finding things around. thought there should be some templates for simple transitions both for audio (fade in/ out) and video with an option to adjust some settings like duration of the transition etc.
You're welcome, and thanks! No, not every time you create a text layer, just when you choose to save as a motion graphics template (13:50). For regular "text" that you add it is just a "clip" that shows up in your sequence, specific to that one project - that you can manipulate/edit in the essential graphics panel or in effect controls. Everything in this tutorial including the intro was done in Premiere Pro. I've used Vegas Pro since 2009, I'm switching my editing workflow to Premiere Pro now, I'm learning everything from scratch. Your videos are helping me a lot.
Happy to help. Anything in particular you're looking for? I have 3 more Premiere vids on the way, one is on effects and transitions, one is on rolling credits and the other is a re-edited/updated/better video about creating new sequences.
@@ThisGuy I like the way you teach it's clear and concise. I've tried to switch to Premiere Pro many time without success, only managed after getting rid of the Vegas Pro mindset, and facing Premiere Pro as it is with its pros and cons. I want to learn more about Master Effects.
@@alexfreedomroad Much appreciated. Clear and concise is the goal or sure! I haven't used anything but Premiere/After Effects for the last 15 years or so. I used to use Final Cut back in the day, but since my school had Adobe licenses for the students, I made the switch too.
Another super helpful "How to" video. Your calm, slow approach is perfect for a total beginner such as me. Can you do a video of how to fade text in and out?
Glad I could help! Let me know if this video helps (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9EgX1OoJ5-E.html)? I use regular clips to show transitions (not text) but all the principles are the exact same.
Did you just click to make the red cursor, or did you make a full red text box by clicking and dragging? If click and drag, then go to your selection tool and make the box bigger. Your current font size is probably larger than the current box you made can fit. Otherwise, delete your box and make sure to just click only, and not click and drag when starting your text. Let me know if that works?
