Solder joints and heat shrink will significantly step up your game. You wont have to worry about bad connections and corrosion once you learn to solder well. Flux is your friend!
@@christopherlitton696 why would you fuse a speaker wire? biggest concern is the wires that are twisted together and not taped but also the wire nuts which are made for solid core wire not stranded, they tend to fall off stranded wire then those wires are free to short out on the bracing under the dash or against the radio. with how cheap he made a point to mention everything was why not pick up a $10 soldering iron and make good connections or better yet a crimp tool and use that and crimp connections. most of my concern here is the 20 seconds he shows behind the radio. half the connections are twist and tape or wire nuts or twist and no tape.
Can i use my front speakers wiring (near the speakers it's elves) and connect the tweeters to them? Do your front speaker and the tweeters working together or the tweeters replace the front speakers?
@@popoygravy5118 because a wire nut won’t thread correctly in the type of wire that is used for car speakers. It will just crush the wire and create a bad connection. Which can lead to even more problems. Sound cutting in and out, blown fuses etc. :)
LOL...The jankiest speaker install video ever. Your using 12g butt splice crimp connectors (Without an actual crimping tool) on what looks like 16g wire, Your using wire nuts just to cause a short. But the best yet is lamp zip cord...LOL
