@@SewingReport I have a brother cs7000x which i think also doesn't have that feature and i don't know what to do because it keeps eating my stretchy fabric. got any tips?
Stretchy fabric is notoriously difficult to sew with, some have said to sew with tissue paper underneath, then rip it off. I haven't tried this myself, so not sure how well it would work. I avoid thin/stretchy fabrics personally because I find them to be too much of a hassle. If the stretchy fabric is made of a natural fiber (cotton, cotton blend, rayon) you could use Terial Magic to temporarily stiffen it. This does *not* work on polyester or synthetic fabrics. SEE THIS VIDEO ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_h1hGljf-5o.html I also stock stretch needles in my Etsy shop which can help with skipped stitches www.etsy.com/listing/989632343/organ-needles-super-stretch-assortment www.etsy.com/listing/997721418/schmetz-twin-stretch-machine-needle-size That being said, if you're a beginner sewist you may want to work with woven (non-stretchy) fabrics for a while until you get more confident in your skills.
