Great job on your video, I work in the sprinkler business and we install and service systems and this video is a great resource to refer customers to if they have any questions after we go through how to operate the clock/timer with them.
Really well explained. I know how to use the system, however, I was unsure with the multiple start times. Now I get it and I also really appreciate the tips on when to and when not to water. My instinct is to water the lawn too frequently for less time. Going to change that and see if my lawn improves. Many thanks!
So I have 2 zones, and I am trying to figure out my start times. I watched your video on start times, you stated ti only have 1 start time on number 1. What if I want to water three times a day for each zone in the summer and once a day in the cold season. How could I adjyst my timer. I have a Hunter Xcore timer.
Simple answer is... just press and hold the right arrow. This will start your program, you then press that right arrow to go to the next zone. This will run through everything without messing with any of your settings
Without looking at it in person. I am pretty confident that that is the seasonal adjusts. You can increase or decrease that. It will change the % of watering based on what you've set the minutes to. It's just an easy way to adjust the minutes on every zone fast and easy
My unit has gone bad i think. It wont reset. It initially waters at 5am. I adjusted it to run at 4am to follow city guideline. Now it just wants to run at 7 am. which doesnt make any sense
You can just press and hold the right arrow until station #1 comes on. That will manually run all stations for 1 cycle. Then it will automatically go back to its regular schedulr
