This is something I struggled with on my first separation from this program. Thanks for explaining, and I can't wait to apply this and make my print even better. Always learning! I love the program so far

Thanks a bunch!! That helped me out tremendously. 99% of the artwork I produce is vector based but I do have the software for Simulated Process. Many of the struggles I have with the Simulated Process you have addressed in this single video. Even though I typically dread doing those projects, you now have me looking forward to the next one so I can try out some of these techniques. You Da Man!!!

When screen printing how do you come up with the order the colors should go? I usually go lightest to darkest but noticed thats not always the case

I wonder why you didn’t generate orange and use red instead? Because I noticed when your manually printing red and yellow if you don’t apply the same pressure every time one chair might look more red and the other shirt might look more yellow rather than orange, so why not just use a orange mix since there isn’t any red in this image?

My goal is to create dtf prints that “appear” to have been screen printed. I’ve purchased plugins that halftone the image but fall short of that screen print look. Once actionsep is ran and each color is on its separate channel how do you export it as a transparent image? Meaning how would you export just the halftone colors and not the background? Or would I need to rely on an additional piece of software to “knock out” the background?

Screen printing is a bad business. Extremely labor and resource intensive with poor margins. Too much competition on the low end as anyone can start printing t-shirts for peanuts. After a while however, they discover the grim reality of it all. At best less than 1% do well.
