no disrespect to the guy in the video, but this is horrible advise. if you're not making *at least $300K/year* don't get any exotic car. because a used exotic will cost you a shitload of money to fix. so sure you might be able to *afford* the initial cost but anything goes wrong and you're screwed.

Really, what good is a Lamborghini if you're not a millionaire? You're paying out the rearend for something you are scared to drive because you don't want those maintenance fees coming in. You're better off reading a book a day.

To all those looking to benefit from this, do your own research (if you don't have the time I'd suggest listening to this guy) and you'll get the hang of it after I'd say maybe 6 months (give or take, everyone is different). Start your own bussiness and work for your boss as a subcontractor 3. Lease the car under the name of your company OR Work hard but don't play hard, wait untill you got the cash and buy it.

For me, supercars represent a source of happiness while for some people, want to show off their cars to make them feel better. Driving them gives a rush a good feelings and excitement.

Honestly, just buy a car that's basically done depreciating with decent miles on it and drive it for a while. Sell it when you want. Yea you still lose money on insurance, maintenance, etc but it should be much more affordable.

I feel like this entire 20 minute video can be summarised by the following sentence: Exotic cars depreciate to a point and then hold their value, so buy it at that point and then sell it after a while and get most/all of your money back.

For me as a guy who live in Singapore, 100+K for a Lamborghini is really really cheap cos here in Singapore, a Huracan starts at $838K and the Aventador starts at $1.8 Million

1. sell your house 2.buy a tent that fits under the bonnet. 3.drive around the continent, enjoy the car until you run out of money 4. sell it, go working again to buy a new house.... 5. go back to nr1 and do it all over !

Owning exotic cars for years the wild card is going to be service and maintenance. I can say you need to budget $2-$3 a mile of the car is more then a few years old. But still driving a exotic super car for $1100 a month is fine by me.

You won't be making a profit or breaking even for that matter because even if you manage to sell at a 24k margin after 2 years you'll still be sinking way more than that in Insurance, maintenance, and interest on the loan.

this can work, but from most of the comments it seems like nobody is willing to put in the time. I live in Canada and I just picked up a new 2016 3 series "INDIVIDUAL" with every option. this car goes for $60-65k. I payed $45k because it had 5,000kms on it. I saved $20k for 5000kms... I'm not saying it's easy to do what he's doing but his concepts are on point. my dad had a used car dealer (switched to furniture and real estate now) but he did this all the time. if a car was sitting on the lot too long he would take a pretty low offer and make a minor profit because he sent them off to other dealers for that much anyways. on auto trader you see it too... 6 weeks or older cars already are discounted up to 20% off so you can walk in and negotiate the price and say "you want it gone and haven't had any offers, I'll give you x amount and take it off your hands before you send it to someone else..." they will consider your offer. I haven't looked up this car or many exotic cars, but it happens all the time with BMWs and Mercedes because a couple year old ones depreciate quick and then level off, then you drive it for next to nothing for a year or 2, sell it off, take the hit on the small depreciation and then rinse and repeat.
