It does impart a dull effect which I like This and the uneven wood staining of the leather gives it the appearance of being somewhat glazed as old patina Sure is fun experimenting with it to get the perfect effect

It does The oily stain or pigment of the furniture wax settles deep into the stamping impressions and if there are fat wrinkles in the hide it’ll effect that as well When it dries there’s a dirty glazed look that I don’t get with leather antique Definitely not something to use if you want a finished look

Thank you so much. Great tip! Was wondering if you have ever tried Minwax Finishing Wax. It is quite a bit cheaper and appears to come in different colors. Thank you.
