Man I was 1v1 ing this dude the other day in firing range until he busted out mirage and started using his ult. Talk about some cheese, I was over that real quick.

I thought predicting was bad in aiming? I'm no pro but I've been trying to get better and done aim training. Seems confusing that I've been told one thing and now I have to implement this which seems conflicting.

Same here, I was always taught to try to improve with a focus on reaction, feels rly contradictory to do it based on prediction from what I was taught

@@AJDerpatron Yeah, I really don't know at this I have a 1.50 KD so anything helps. I don't mind trying what he said because I respect Hollow's aim and mechanics but really confused.

I think he really meant to say “anticipating” the change in direction after you have analyzed or read their movement patterns. In 99% of the games u played, players tend to strafe 2 or 3 steps to one direction then switch to the opposite direction. Thats how 99% of players will strafe. There is nothing wrong with predicting the movement, it will help compensate a lot in the reactivity part. But if ur grinding aim trainer, surely u wanna focus more and train your reactivity and reflex by not predicting anything at all. In the actual game u will transition into “anticipating” the change. It will help a lot. Even if u predicted wrong, then u can use ur reflex to snap right back onto the target. And since ammo runs out so so quick in the actual game, it doesnt really matter. Whether u predict or not, eventually u will hop back into cover like literally within 1 second, reload and do it all over again.
