The guidance on sequencing of taping and working back to front was really helpful :). THanks for taking time to teach and Merry Christmas to you Scott.
As luck would have it, Santa had some AutoAir Metallic White for me. Can’t think of a better use than a base for this project. I have my cut files from Scott too. Can’t wait.
@CreatexColorsCo I’m currently doing a ground aluminum tribute panel to one of my favourite bands. I wanted to paint the band members in candy as well but I can’t get the candy to flow to get the details I need to get. Can you help? Thank you!
Please review our How-to Mix candy2o video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nmj_pq8sm0o.html. Best practice is mixing candy2o with 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear, then thin (for airbrush) ~ 10% - 20% per volume with 4011 Reducer. Thank you.
For my eclipse mix 20 percent 4050 and maybe 5 percent reducer and run at around 35 psi to 45 depending on what I’m doing. For my micron I reduce more allowing a fifteen minute induction time before in pour it into the brush
4664 candy2o Black is a dye-based color, which is 1005 transparent. 5132 Createx Transparent black is a pigment-based color, which is translucent. Pigment-based colors are "easier" to work with compared to dyes due to issues such as bleeding, and that candy2o dyes continually build to a darker value. For more, please refer to the candy2o and Createx Airbrush Colors tech sheets available at www.creatextech.com. Thank you.
