Having the headlights of our car correctly aligned gives us safety and comfort for driving at night.
Properly aligned headlights dazzle drivers in the opposite lane and better illuminate our path.
The front headlights have 2 adjustments based on screw or knob depending on the model available in our cars, one of the adjustments is HORIZONTAL marked with the letters L (Left) LEFT and R (Right) RIGHT.
Vertical adjustment is accomplished with the screw or knob marked U (Up) UP and D (Down) DOWN.
The left front headlight should illuminate a wall approximately 3 meters away, at the same height and in front of the left front headlight, forming a sawtooth pattern, the light from the left headlight begins to rise in the sawtooth just in front of the headlight, the same applies to the right front headlight.
In this way, a light pattern of 2 sawtooth running to the right is achieved to avoid blinding drivers in the opposite lane.
