@@fanrail174 The four chests in the first room of the dark room are guaranteed to be red, unless you're holding the gilded key trinket. Also, that room specifically guarantees that red chests will contain devil deals, so bring a Jera if you got hearts to burn.
@@clownymoosebean actually, if you have Left Hand in Dark Room, the red chests apart from the four starting ones are going to be regular, as in WITHOUT guaranteed artifacts. And that's pretty bad.
I got a somewhat easier thought process for them. Basically to get into an UltraSecretRoom you gotta open a red room in a place where a RegularSecret would've appeared, that seems to work for me most of the time with no problem
that's how it was explained to me when repentance first came out and it's only failed me maybe twice, but when you get lower and lower, there ends up being a lot more potential spaces for the secret room to be, so it can be a bit harder
I didn't know it allowed Shops and Treasure rooms! I thought it kept away from any special rooms, which has definitely thrown me off a few times. Good video!
I just did a run dedicated to finding red rooms, only failed on basement 2 and dank depths 1 took me a few attempts in my head to figure out but i got it first try, other rooms were quite easy! thanks for the explanation! true G
OMG. thanks to your guide i found BRIMSTONE AND MAGIC MUSHROOM in one ultra secret room. i was playing tainted isaac and killed delirium which unlocked spindown dice. thanks a lot ❤️❤️❤️
Also if you see a room that has the kind of pattern that could connect to a secret/super secret room but not, open that red room it usually leads to ultra secret room as well.
Aaand subscribed, last video 2 weeks ago, video before it a year, you got noce voice man and seem chill even if you just upload basic gameplay or silly challanges would fall asleep watching you 10/10
I love ultra secret rooms so I'm gonna tell a long story about why they are great I once had a really really mid run BUT I had a diplopia in hand I randomly decided to visit a cursed room before exiting the floor and found a red key in a red chest, then I opened a door adjacent to the cursed room because I wanted to take diplopia over red key (I had Eucharist too so I knew sacred heart my beloved was lurking) Find out the red key use got me a ultra secret with sacred heart Diplopia'd it ans won the run
Fun fact: you can get an ultra secret room off a normal bomb secret room if you have double secret room spawns if your floor is too big, i've had it happen twice, once in the void and once in the chest
That's ok! There's also another guide on my channel for a less consistent, but much simpler method! Or you can always just try finding them randomly lmao
The used to be able to spawn through curse and secret rooms but this was patched awhile ago! People would use the inverse moon card with no bombs, or 1/2 a heart and get softlocked so they changed the spawn conditions
Basically what they are is that secret rooms you find for bombing certain bits of the floor and there a lower chance of a super secret and both of them has a chance of a item depending of them quality.
"1. They HAVE to touch 4 red rooms." Aaaand none of them touch 4 red rooms on next shown map, why was that added? There were given proper 1st rule anyway a moment before
Aside from the floor, the entire 13x13 grid is filled with red rooms, aside from spots made invalid. So instead of showing a massive 13x13 grid I only showed the one's bordering the floor, as the are the only ones you need to pay attention to
@@dont_blink811 dad's key only unlocks door that already exist on the map, Red rooms technically don't exist, unless it the red outline for the door appears.
They used to but players using inverse moon would get softlocked if they had no bombs. Because of that they no longer spawn connected to secret or curse rooms
