I think your tutorials are clearer and more helpful than those from the popular channels, so glad I clicked on one of yours and learned a lot! Thank you!
Love these videos on lip sync. My university course includes animation and I have just came off from doing a walk cycle (not the best in the world) but when they assigned us to do lip sync, I am glad I clicked on your videos. Smooth, soft and straight to the point, I feel more confident in completing the task.
Thank you! This video has been helpful to me because it made me realize things about lip sync that I didn't realize before. Specifically, the fact that your lip sync actually kinda looks more natural if you don't animate absolutely every sound. (Wish I could tell my past self that lol.) Thanks once again 💯
Hi Abdul! I go through how to do a blink animation in one of my other videos: Adobe Animate Basics II: Frame by Frame Animation. I might do a walk cycle tutorial at some point in the future 🙂
I followed along but when I go to animate the lip sync, the Frame Picker does not show up unless I click the very first frame which is the closed mouth. If I select that mouth I can see all the others in the frame picker but if I select any of the other mouths on the timeline the rest do not show up. Also all of my mouth shapes show up in my main timeline just as they were in the timeline when I was making them in a symbol. So all of them show one after another. Please help
Hey bro, you have done a good job, teaching us. Its really good perfect way to learn lip sync, i watched all your videos, you're doing a good job. Please be consistent on uploading videos, i like to watch your videos. Please do storytelling animation like, jaiden, domics, somethingelseyt, gingerpale. I will subscribe now, and thank you for teaching me.
Dang, I wish you'd have shown yourself setting this up rather than just jumping straight to everything being set up. What does the little icon of what looks like a pick axe mean? It's to the left of the "mouth_chart" layer at 1:05 (most created layers have a little piece of paper icon with bent corner, this looks like a pickaxe). I tried importing your photo in that layer in case that's what it meant since you never showed how you got to this part (the setup), but it didn't change the icon. I also tried creating a graphic symbol to see if that would change that little icon and it didn't. I also tried to google the answer but no luck
Hi, thank you very much for that. Can you please tell me how much would a professional like yourself charge a customer for one minute of manual lip sync(without animation of the body, only lips). Thank you very much.
In my experience, auto lip sync doesn't do a very good job so I did not cover that. However, I'm considering recording a tutorial on how to set it up 🙂
Thanks for a fast reply Devon! So far I defiantly labeled each mouth shape just like in the video at 5:20 but when I click frame picker... only one shows up
@@kingbroc596 Hmm... It should work fine if it is a Graphic Symbol and the mouth shapes are on their own keyframes inside it. Check the bottom left of your Frame Picker too - does it say "All Frames"?
not to be racist or anything, but after checking several useless youtube tutorials with wayyyy more views i knew as soon as i saw an asian that i finally found the right vid. haha. thanks a lot!
Don't worry, learning a new software can be confusing Here's my fulll Adobe Animate playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PL40CCm7kKzr4aL4tPfERT9bI9mTtRjMtW Start from the first video and keep going - you'll get a good understanding of the software and how to use it for animation
