Alex I saw you had a "Shake" script on your shelf. Is that a camera shake script? If so, where can I find it? I've been trying several options, but haven't been pleased so far with the tools I tried.
I can't recall where I found it but it doesn't work! I just animate the camera manually on twos. Frame 1 - camera up. Frame 3 camera down. Frame 5 - camera up. And so on. The final curve should look like a sine wave
This seems like a really useful tool, however sadly i don't quite seem to understand the purpose. In the above example, you seem to be using this tool on an existing character thats already animated; is this purely to be used in a stage of clean up, or much earlier? I guess a question would be, at which point in the process of animating a shot would this be used? Is this more to be used right after the shot has some basic block? .. Thank you.
You do your blocking on stepped curves, and then use the Tween Machine to add breakdowns. It is a tool for speeding up the process of adding breakdowns. You still have to do the animation yourself!
@@asteuartw Thanks, and apologies; i'm trying to understand the workflow concept :) So, say i've blocked out several key poses of an animation over 100 frames, i'm happy with the result; i then want to find interesting key poses between those 7 existing poses, this tool is for creating those extra keyframes with the ability to bias towards one side or the other. I think the thing that confuses me, with complete lack of understanding lol ... if for example i wanted to add a break down between frames 20-40, why is using the tool different to just selecting all controllers and hitting S on a desired frame, then if need just shifting all the frames? .. Appreciate your thoughts, I should definitely watch the video more times! :) Thank you.
@@davidedwardsme it isn't different. You can replicate manually what the Tween Machine does automatically, if you like. The Tween Machine just makes it faster, that's all. It is a time saver.
Thank you so much! When i set 2 keys (Start - End of timeline) my animation is "smoothly transitioning" between those keys.... not like in your vid @00:55, is that a setting i missed?
