This one is for beginners who are starting out on their skin care journey
▪️Start with clean face & hands
Dab excess water off. I have a reel in which serums to use on dry skin and which ones in damp skin. Do check it out.
▪️Take a few drops on your palms
This is better than touching the dropper on the face. If you use the dropper directly on the face, you don’t have control over where the serum is going. Certain areas may get less and others may get more product.
▪️Multiple small dots on the face
Dot your entire face so there are no skip areas. Serums with salicylic acid can be applied on oily areas or acne prone areas like forehead and nose.
▪️Spread it evenly to cover all areas
You can the spread the applied dots over the whole face.
▪️Spread upwards and outwards
It is best to spread the serum upwards and outwards. There is no need to massage but it can be relaxing. So massaging your face for a few minutes could help you de stress a little.
