How to Apply An Arm Sling - First Aid - Clinical Skills - Dr Gill
The ability to apply a sling, is not only something which all medical students should be able to do, as basic first-aid, but is something that is quite reasonable to expect at least one person in every household to be familiar with
In this video will go through how to apply a broad arm, or horizontal sling, and how to apply an elevated arm sling
This video all demonstrates the particular indications for applying a broad arm sling
--------------
Different medical schools, nursing colleges and other health professional courses will have their own preferred approach to a clinical assessment - you should concentrate on THEIR marks schemes for your assessments.
Some people watching this video may experience an ASMR effect

Nice video, if you don’t mind, if you can show how to use and apply tools and medicines that are in first aid kits or if you can combine those procedures together in one video that would also be great.❤

I've done my first aid certificate. One thing the instructor said was that the symptoms of heart attack and stroke can overlap, one of the causes of stroke is bleeding on the brain, and aspirin could be bad.

Great video! I didn’t realize that there were two types of sling tying options depending on the reason for the sling use, as an accident prone person due to proprioception issues from sensory processing disorder things like this are very useful skills for me to know, lol. Especially working in the back room of a retail store unloading trucks where there’s a cement floor and a lot of potential hazards for me to bump into constantly, I’ve fallen numerous times as a result of tripping and one time nearly led to a concussion, but thankfully my back took the brunt of the fall instead of my head so it wasn’t as bad of a fall as it could’ve been but it was too close for comfort imo.

Dr.Gill is it normal for the Inguinal lymph nodes to be raised? I’m rather lean and on the left and right side I can feel them , they move under the finger when touched and don’t hurt I had them checked back in August and the GP nothing wrong but still present?
