Thank you so much. I did not understand why I was not smelling my perfume. I was applying to wrist only and was missing the pulse points on the neck and collarbone. What a difference! Now, I am able to enjoy my perfume all day!
Hi, Nikhil this video is really good. But still I have some questions like if anyone has oudor in under-arm and if he is using ittar. Then should he apply ittar on under-arm? or what he should do to prevent this problem?
@@souravsarkar4143 shave, clean and use deodorant sticks or roll ons. I use simple nivea deodorant sticks since my adolescents, and it does pretty decent job nothing too fancy, I think it suppress the sweat receptors or something, no idea just guessing, but ya it does its job decently.
Thank you so much for this! I ordered some Isphahan Oud Attar oil online because it sounded like something I would enjoy, but when I got it and used it the way I normally apply perfumed oil, it was waaaaaay too strong! I appreciate the tutorial - it is now perfect and quite enjoyable!
Oud Isphahan is notorious for hanging around. I wore it in my car weeks ago and I still get wafts of it. That was the EDP. The oil is generally stronger which is why I mainly wear oils
Sound advice there. I also use some neutral moisturiser at the pulse points, before applying the fragrance, which can help to give to give some further longevity.
Hello respected madam. Do you have knowledge and knowledge in civet musk? Musk Castrum? I am a perfume researcher and perfume designer. If you have answers, I will be very happy, madam. Thanks in advance Mimou badisi
Thank You so very much for this video! I have a rose oil and had no idea how to use it. SUBSCRIBED! Looking forward to diving into your content! Love from Miami ✨✌🏼🌹
Thank you so much I had recently gotten an Egyptian perfume bottle and was searching all over the internet trying to figure out the correct way to use it < 3
This was great information. Because I ordered some oils from middle eastern fragrance oil. This video helped me to understand how to use mine. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for enlightening the procedure of attar applications, some I knew, some dont I didnt knew, well that was very very enlightening. Basically I am concerned nowadays about the synthetic oils coming into the markets, maybe 70% of the market is synthetic nowadays. How to Identify a natural essential oil/perfume ?
Thanks so very much for these tips! I had no idea how to apply such precious stuff. I have only recently acquired my first attar, and have clearly not fully utilized its magic due to poor application. I shall try these tips this week. Mahalo!
Mujtaba Hussain Naw, so far nothing as exotic or precious as the really fascinating items Nikhil has shown. That, hopefully, will be in my near future once my finances stabilize. But just a couple of Xerjoff's mainstream offerings I discovered at a local niche shop, I guess like the "minor leagues" of the attar food chain: Oud Luban, Java Blossom and, what has turned out to be an amazingly lovely rose/oud combo to my nose, Warda Al Oud--it sparkles with this uncanny effervescence. These really got me intrigued with attars and, judging by what Nikhil has shown on this channel, a whole new universe of olfactory delights awaits. So fingers crossed, I shall soon be snagging some of his suggestions soon. See ya!
I use droppers, no rollers so far. I split between index fingers, do wrists, neck then rub the rest in my beard. 1 actual drop is the same as 5-10 sprays. I usually empty the dropper and swipe a small amount. The beard part makes crazy projection
Nikhil bhai, you had uploaded another video on the application of attars, which was slightly more detailed than this one. Would appreciate if you could re-upload that one please. Thanks
Bro I bought 140$ mukhallat by ajmal 8 months ago it was fantastic before it used to project beastly but now I think it's not that heavy and intense what could be the reason? Or am I immune to it?
Hi Nikhil, been watching your videos for a while now, i only subscribed, sorry! I ve recently been looking at attars but i dont know much about them, thanks for the advice. I wanted to ask,in the loud application, when you put some on your hand, then rub it lightly on the other hand..are you then rubbing it on your skin or on your clothes..ie when you rubbed the front of your neck and the top of your arms,
I love the way Attars that burn in those BEAUTIFUL burning canisters smell, once I smelled a sweet vanilla, fruity, a little spicy one, but I don't know which one to buy from Swiss Arabian can you help me please, Thank you
Thank God i found your channel!!!! I was totally dieing to get to know about attars as I prefer them more than Eau De Parfum. But I know a lot less about our own fragrances..... 😢 Hope to get enlightened through your guidance. ☺️
Hello respected madam. Do you have knowledge and knowledge in civet musk? Musk Castrum? I am a perfume researcher and perfume designer. If you have answers, I will be very happy, madam. Thanks in advance Mimou badisi
If I am layering, should I layer an EDP then an oil or the other way around? I'm always worried that the EDP will dilute the oil if I put it on top of an oil
Very nice and informative video. I used to always be a bit confused with ittarwalas saying to apply on clothes and all books on perfumery talking about pulse points. Your video just clarified that for me. Btw please do a video on how you buy ittars. The one you did on perfumes was great, but ittars are so different. Also they are never in places where I can try on day 1 and go back on day 2 to buy.
Thank you very much. Very helpful. I have a question. Please help me. I have bad body odor problem. I don't like to put deodorants because they are filled with harmful chemicals. Can you please tell me how to use attar as deodorant or do you have any suggestions for chemicals free natural deo? Thank you
Thanks a lot for the video. After the last session on perfumes, i was eagerly waiting for this one on attars. Sir i short enquiry which attar has the scent of fresh cut wood or sawdust. I purchased royal woody with the same intention but i was a totally different scent. Is oud wood by swiss arabian or oud woody by alfaransi that type of scent. Kindly guide dear as we look upto ur vast knowledge in perfumery in issues like these.
Hi Nikhil, I was exploring lot of stuff related to oud. I wanted to know about any safety aspects related to attars, oud and other alcohol based perfumes for that matter. I mean we apply these on our skin directly and pure oud oils are ofcourse natural, hence may be safe... what about others in general. I live in india. I go to an Ajmal store for example and they have perfume oils ranging from rs 400 - upwards. from synthetic blends, Oud Mukhallats and other blends. As far as I have searched , pure oils would cost 30k n upwwards (please correct me if wrong). I dont know if I am thinking way over my head, but just wanted to know if you came across any info regarding these aspects in your journey.
When Attar Perfumers say Natural, it mostly means alcohol free. Yes pure oud is very costly. But in a attar 100% is not oud.its blended with other fragrances.
Sir i was at a shop named Sugandhco in Lucknow nd the person thr was saying ki thr itr nd perfume spray r equivalent in terms of long lasting. This came right on time. A very good friend of mine asked me to look up info on oudh oil...well I had no idea what it was...but I went on a real time search to a store in Brooklyn, NY where the cashier explained it's root meaning and let me sample some of the attars...I always say that I'm a Life Time Learner... Wonder full vid. Continue with the great work. Thank you too. Thur, November 8,2018.
