I know this is maybe off topic but what would be better, Easyweed stretch or sublimation heat press?

I'm trying to do (cuffless) acrylic beanies with a heat press. I've tried dropping temp down to 280 and decreasing dwell time but I'm still getting heat marks. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated :)

We suggest Stretch, because of the elasticity of the hat. Other heat transfers will work, but you will want to be careful with what type of hat you are applying to, because some heat transfer vinyl may not form to the hat as well.

Are you using stretch HTV or will regular HTV work without cracking when put on?

This was standard EasyWeed but we did run into some stretching issues after the application. I would suggest Stretch. It will be better suited to the stretch and rebound of the hat.

Yes, you can absolutely apply to shoes!

You can try bring down the pressure and increasing the dwell time, so that the transfer is still adhered to the hat.

Sunny, Siser Heat Transfer Vinyl can't be printed on. We do have printable material but it requires a large format printer/cutter and solvent or eco-solvent inks. -Keith

+Jennifer Dodd Yes, I don't see why you couldn't use a Shark Iron. Whichever iron you use. you just have to make sure that your steam setting is turned off.

I'm not sure that we've ever tried ColorPrint Easy on a knit cap... If you have a small piece, I recommend testing maybe on the inside of the hat. Every knit hat is going to be different and so would the application.
