This is how to apply eyeshadow like a pro with the basics 2022! I'll show you exactly what buffing, blending and all the words you hear all makeup video's mentioning but maybe didn't know what it meant! I'll show you a full eyeshadow look and how to create it.
In this video I'll show you how to apply eyeshadow, how to use your brush, how to apply eyeshadow to the brush and how to apply it to your eyelids. I'll explain how to blend your eyeshadow and every details of eyeshadow application.

I’ve been really trying with my makeup lately especially eye makeup. I’ve bought a few palettes but I just end up looking awful. Finally at 55 years old someone has actually explained it clearly and in depth. Thank you for this video. Much needed and appreciated. My difficulty with eyeshadows is i am clueless when it comes to pairing colours together. I am stuck with two colour pallets that are already paired. But then it gets boring. I sit with pallets that have different colours but i don't use the colours cause i dont know what goes with what. These videos are timeless. I can watch them repeatedly and always learn something new. You actually educate us on how to use certain techniques! Have you thought about doing a video on how we need to pose for or do makeup for zoom calls? the type of lighting, direction and backgrounds can be a bit tricky. What size and level of light will vary on all of us, but you've done an amazing job at addressing us all across the board. Just a gentle suggestion.

You really are great at explaining things. I’m an MUA and have tried teaching people certain techniques but brushes and which brush you use is hard for some people I’ve dealt with to comprehend. I understand what your doing and I’m sure most that are what your video will understand because like I said, you explain things very well. You have great space from your lashline to your brows. I have hooded eyes but as I’ve aged I’ve had to adapt for the areas that have started to droop lol.

Great video Nina. Something that I struggle with is finding the right transition shades, especially when it comes to colorful shadow looks. Like, when do we use a cooler transition shade or when do we use a warmer one? Should it be a taupe or a mauve or a bronze? Also how to mix different textures when it comes to shadow looks? You can start with a foam applicator also. I have applied it the same way with a foam applicator, but I guess some people may prefer the brush. I use both.

The brushes DO make a huge difference. Once I got the correct Sigma brush (tried a couple before this one that didn’t work for me), I could place the color and then blending was pretty simple! Fortunately, Sigma has sales!
