Nikkia Joy thank you for replying. I've never really had to wear false lashes. I have fine lashes but all I need is 2 coats of a good quality mascara and my lashes are touching my lens on my glasses and my eyebrows lol.

OK, first of all, WHY can't you apply them? And please be specific. Do you trim your lashes, particularly the inner corners, the first time you attempt to apply them? If you don't, you'll always have problems. Also, when choosing which new lashes to buy, are you going for lashes that are too long? If so, again, you'll have problems until you get used to them. Unless you are a performer on stage which I doubt, huge lashes are simply not called for. The reason I doubt that you are a performer, lashes are part of your makeup, and you have no option other than to learn to apply them if you want your job. And yes, your eyeliner is applied before your lashes.

You make it look *so* easy!!!!! I'm 51 and my lashes started thinning into near nonexistence about 8 years ago (and I have small eyes as well). I've spent hundreds of dollars on innumerable mascaras with 0 joy. About 2 years ago I started trying false lashes and after months of practice (and nearly 50 RU-vid tutorials), my best "time" was 30 minutes, and rarely was I pleased or confident with the results. I quit trying. Your video has resurrected my interest and determination. You offered two or three tips I haven't tried. Thank you so much!

Thank you for being the 1st person to step-by-step tell you where to put them. I always try to put them too close to my actual lashes cause I don't want a gap but then they don't feel right. You are the 1st person to say put them above your lashes and then pinched them together with your lashes. Also your scissors or the cutest.

It's very important you let the glue get tacky first. If not that's when you will have a big nasty glue mess. Duo also isn't a great brand because it comes out much more messier than brands like kiss or ardell.

You taught me so much and I love the hacks and tricks, thank you again. I have a couple of questions: when you apply eyeliner do you pout eyeliner first before you apply the lashes or after? Also, I use oils to remove my makeup (coconut or jojoba), would coconut or jojoba oil work as a makeup remover to remove the lash or do I have to buy actual makeup remover? Thank you again so much! Nancy, you are absolutely correct. If you put on your eyeliner prior to the lashes, it will help the lashes to blend with your own lashes.

I have a question when I put on my false eyelashes in a couple of hours it starts lifting on the inner corner what can I do to prevent this? I really appreciate it thank you 💄

Maria Walters put more glue in the inner corner band prior to applying. I always put more glue on the inner and outer corners :) Also if that doesn’t work it means that your eyes are water in the inner tear duct. Trim your lashes from the inner corner to avoid placement near the tear duct :)

Cinderfire hey! Yes it could be! I recommed you to buy a cheap eye lashes and try to cut them all you need and the try it on, so you could see what are you doing wrong, plus if you dont use lashes so often, start first with a natural ones and then slowly , yoy could use some dramatics. Just personal experience 😊

i have tried a lot of different brands of eyelashes and Nikkias are the BEST. i recommend them to everyone. her technique for applying them is how I do it. another trick a friend of mine did was apply eyelash glue first like if she was putting on liquid eyeliner then pop the lash on.

I just recently started using eyelashes everyday and this is exactly how I put mine on. I'm glad to see that I'm doing it right. I'm definitely going to look at buying your line. I bought a Sephora brand not to long ago and was so excited to use them, got them out to us them the next day and :'( cut one too short. I was sad that happened. I'm not very good at applying those little wisps so I gave up on that pair. You live you learn. Have a great day!

I always trim tiny amounts at a time to avoid that happening! I've been there too and its so sad haha!! And once they are cut theres no going back! xx

Yep, same. I never wear false lashes for that reason. Still, I recently used false lashes for a Halloween look and had the worst time getting those guys on, so this video is really helpful.
