Actually I am a stream A candidate who does not require osce and Nclex, only require English exam, so I cleared PTE and submitted all my documents in ahpra site including Fitwork International police check, passport copy and employment letter and I submitted the fees also. I got reply that they received my application, now next is assessment phase.
In that case just send a query to AHPRA using their contact option. Usually they will ask good standing before assessing your case. So if they didn’t suggested to get good standing, it is better to confirm with them.
What if i Have two licenses. Registered Nurse and. Registered Midwife. I took up Midwifery first for 2yrs since its not BS that time. And i continued studying BS Nursing and got licensed. I have my work experience in maternight clinic only. Which will be my primary qualification. Can i make two self checks ? If i am a qualified midiwfe or qualified nurse? In not really sure. Pls help

Yes, Marks Card is yearly Marks list. Transcript is a comprehensive list containing your clinical hours and theory hours along with marks obtained in each year.

Yes. You have to get good standing certificate. Because after the completion of your studies you would have Registered in any one of the nursing council in your place. If not yet registered in your home country, get Registered first.

You can either take English test before the self check or after the self check. If the AHPRA processing gets delayed you may have to retake English test. So better do self check and get nclex ready and meanwhile prepare and get ready with English test results.

Hello, If I understand right, to be eligible to Stream A I must meet 3 selection criteria: 1. Qualification recognised for registration Your qualification was recognised by a statutory registration/licensing body for registration as a registered nurse or midwife or enrolled nurse in the country your qualification was received and you have met any pre- registration examination requirements. 2. Quality assurance and accreditation At the time you received your qualification as a registered nurse or midwife or enrolled nurse the qualification was subject to quality assurance and recognised or accredited by a body external to the education institution and based on published accreditation standards. 3. Academic level of qualification The academic level of your qualification is comparable to, at a minimum, an Australian Bachelor Degree at level 7 (registered nurse or midwife) or Australian Diploma level 5 (enrolled nurse) of the Australian Qualifications Framework. If I can meet these criteria, according to APRHA I can be eligible for Stream A I don't have to be only from English speaking country, I didn't see any information about it. Am I missing something? Please do online self check and the system will guide you and let you know under which stream you have to do the registration. Regarding qualification acceptable for stream A AHPRA has some guidelines. It depends on their assessment you belong to different stream.

I've applied for qualification assessment and have been determined as stream B candidate, despite I've provided all supporting documents against each selection criteria. I'm confident that I can be stream A candidate, but probably for APRHA better to determine me as stream B, because I have to pay more fees. My question is if you now someone who can assist me with my case? Or what can I do more? All new registration process not inclusive and not transparent. Currently IQNM registration process are on hold due to Australian border closure. So you have to wait for sometime. Once it's open your application will be assigned to a case officer.
Work experience is not assessed by AHPRA. Work experience is calculated by ANMAC. So AHPRA doesn't require that information during self-check. Thank you.

@@mihirpatel8083 You can apply to APHRA. Your experience, since it is less than 3 years, is counted as a new graduate. Experience is counted to calculate your salary. To get registered in Australia, your experience has no importance.
Please advice me on what to do. I applied for ahpra registration and I uploaded all the documents required. I got a mail today that I should upload my certificate and not notification of result. Have you attested your transcript properly? Transcript is issued by your college. University does not issue transcript. It issues either a convocation certificate or a marks card. Please check it.

Sorry I don't have much information about OBA preparation coaching classes. For NCLEX you can use uworld website or Kaplan website. They offer preparation materials.

If you have bridging referral letter, you have to undergo bridging program in Australia. If you opt to change it to OBA contact your case officer from AHPRA.
But now admission are not commence due to covid19. I have called many times at aphra case officer but call were not answered. Is it possible to convert directly to OBA? If yes then how?? Plz help me in this matter

You have to undergo GDN course in Australia to get registration. Contact AHPRA and check the lust of approved colleges. Some colleges provide online courses.
Good standing certificate is sent from nursing Council. You must have Registered in your local nursing Council after graduation. You can send good standing from there.

Thanks for the query. Actually AHPRA decides the stream of applicants based on their educational background. Since you said you hold a diploma in nursing, most probably AHPRA will request you to take a nursing program to upgrade your educational qualification. There is some online Graduate certificate in nursing (GCN) course offered by colleges in Australia. Kindly contact them to get more information regarding upgrading your qualification.

Hi. Currently there is no visa applicable for people to appear for OSCE. If you have any previous visa (dependant visa) you can appear for Osce. Otherwise wait for visa subclass 600 to open. Keep checking it in Department of home affairs Australia website.

If you are an RN in UK 🇬🇧, go for New Zealand 🇳🇿 registration and once you get it in hand apply for Australian registration. It’s easy, less stressful and faster too.

Sir, I am an IEN and live in Canada. I would like to get eligibility to write NCLEX RN exam to become a nurse in Canada. Due to this pandemic crisis, they now tell us that if we pass NCLEX RN exam in any other country then they will give us RN license. So my doubt is, will AHPRA send NCLEX RN results directly to the Canada? I don't want to write OSCE just NCLEX RN. Can I do that? Also how many times can I write NCLEX RN?
Yes you can write nclex rn for Australia 🇦🇺 and request the AHPRA to send your results to Canada 🇨🇦 . You can skip OSCE. Nice you finish nclex rn you have to contact AHPRA through web enquiry to send your results to Canada. No limits to number of attempts to take nclex rn.

During initial selfcheck you need not declare your experience. However in the final registration you may not declare your older experience by showing gaps in experience with some reasons.

Hi, Timeframe if there was no corona May be 6-12 months. If this corona situation continues and the Australian borders continues to shut for foreigners then the timeframe is upto 2 years. Regarding work visa, you cannot apply for work visa for attending osce. You need to apply for visitor visa which gives 3 months to 1 year duration to stay back. Good luck.

For enrolled nurses AHPRA may request to undertake mcq test. I am not able to give you more information on this matter because it is case dependent. So contact AHPRA through their web enquiry form. You will get genuine information based on your current situation.
Osce fees is very costly and its time consuming as well. Do we have to first go to Australia on tourist visa for osce test and then come back. To your home country and again apply for employment based visa??

There is no need to give employment history while doing self check or initial application to AHPRA. However in the final stage you may have to give proof of your nursing employment history only.
Do we have to get certificates notarized to upload for portfolio. I am currently working as a clinical instructor (last 2 years), so will they accept me.
You have to get your certificates attested. Check my channel for details regarding certificate attestation and other migration related queries. Clinical instructor is also a role of nurse and it is accepted in Australia. Don't worry.

1. You can attest the documents at Justice of Peace or authorized Notary in Australia. Please follow the Attestation guidelines. Link is in video description. 2. You can't post the documents to AHPRA. You have to upload it in online portal.

OSCE you cannot sit in Canada. Australia n OSCE will be held at Adelaide Health simulation lab, hence you have to travel to Australia. OSCE dates you can book once AHPRA asks you to do so. Currently it has not started to book dates for OSCE.

NCLEX RN for Australia may contain Cultral background questions relevant to Australian culture. Check AHPRA website for more updates. After getting your portfolio evaluated by AHPRA you have 365 days duration within which you have to appear for NCLEX RN.
Nclex RN test started. You can check it in Pearson VUE website. Tests can be taken only after the AHPRA confirms the completion of your portfolio assessment.

You have to upload the certified documents to Ahpra. Once you complete the self check you will create an account in Ahpra website and with it you will follow up with your registration steps.
