Coach Ilan described it best, Sifu Miloš has a weird grappler esq strength and sensitivity that I've only really seen from Wrestlers but he's doing it will striking. I tried hand-handing with Sifu and attempted several arm drags and wrist control attempts but he was able to 'grapple back' and still effortlessly stop or counter my attempts which made setting up any Single or Double leg attempts difficult let alone try to take his back and if not just negating what I was trying to set up he was easily able to strike me or tap me which disrupted any attempt I had. It's really weird but amazing, I've never seen such an amalgamation or "grappling energy" for lack of a better word, in a striker or someone just attempting to hit you not even trying to perform any takedowns. The best way I can describe it if I had to was to Imagine a Greco-Roman Wrestler or Judoka, stable on their feet and all perfectly balanced and explosive, and imagine he was also a pro-level Boxer, Striker, etc. Great strikes, and good elbows, and can move around the opponent and stay within his range and active defense. Now imagine instead of him dancing around you popping off his lead to set up the power punches and hitting you in range and the end of his punches, Imagine he shoots in like a grappler but instead of grabbing the limbs or legs they are several strikes going to several places at once head, neck, face, gut and it's not only discombobulating but painful. Now your confused ow he's hitting you in clinch range without grappling and your smothering and drowing in strikes so you do a hail mary dive for the legs hoping to go take him to the ground, instead your now in either taking an elbow or just put your head right in his chest with no secure lock on his body to stop or prevent it and now your getting elbowed in he neck or you yourself being taken down and then your laying down wondering what just happened and what you can do to still take him to the ground cause striking with him is to dangerous and he will shoot in faster than you can shoot in and secure his legs even you did you will be taking punches to the face going in, you try to hand hand again and then the whole cycle starts form square 1 again. Truly a unique experience and something I've never seen before! Cannot wait for the next class!

In term of principles of war, the constant pushing forward would be : 1. Continuity of action 2. Offense

This is an important point. Once you seize territory, you shouldn’t give it back by retracting before you replace the troops

Applies to striking, also to grappling, also to football, basketball, even chess. And of course to military strategy as well. It's a universal principle, yet so many are unaware of it.

This is high level WC. Majority of fighters are stuck in boxing distance and get KO. And wrestlers or BJJ have no chance with being driven back by forward full body punches to the face in a street fight.

Boxer will do a very quick angle change and deliver a quick left hook or jab. If opponent can change the angle quickly then this forwarding method will work. Need to know your challengers quickness by testing

When you come forward into a forward moving opponent, you make your ability to close distance twice as fast. This overwhelms the enemies perception and -- even though it might seem more dangerous -- it actually keeps you safer.

I'm obsessed with your videos. However, I don't think there's anyone teaching your style in Portugal, and learning online probably doesn't work.

Not sure of anyone in Portugal but we will be starting on online curriculum soon! In the meantime, subscribe and apply our techniques to your current training, they adapt well to all the arts. Thanks for your comment.

Arm punches... not gonna scare anyone. A boxer for example may just force a simultaneous exchange knowing hes gonna hurt you alot more compared to weak arm punches
